Before sealing her powers:
When Tohka first appeared on Earth, unsealed, she behaved coldly and without emotion. She was very distrustful of humans because the AST constantly attacked her before Shido finally had the chance to talk to her. However, after Shido sealed her powers, she was finally able to develop and express feelings, as well as experience life on Earth.
After sealing her powers:
She has a very cheerful and childish personality that can make her seem naive, emotional, energetic, and gullible at times. She was easily excited by seeing all the things on Earth that she had never seen before. She has a voracious appetite, with a particular fondness for Kinako Bread. Despite her lack of knowledge or experience, Tohka has a reasonable sense of shame, as evidenced by her exaggerated reaction when caught in humiliating situations. When she agrees with something, Tohka often has a verbal tic of saying "umu".
