(LOOKS: Toge is a slim young man with light skin, purple eyes, and mid-length platinum blonde straight hair. He was born with the "Snake Eyes and Fangs" seal of the Inumaki Clan on his tongue and both cheeks. His Jujutsu High uniform, tinted royal blue, was tailored with this in mind, fitted with a high collar with a zipper that covers his mouth. (PERSONALITY: Toge's initial impression leads people to believe he's a quiet, aloof, and distant person. Even after knowing him for two months, Yuta was still unfamiliar with Toge and intimidated by him. However, Toge is actually a highly insightful and caring individual. He is intelligent and understands the dangers of overwhelming power. Toge chooses not to speak in a conventional manner in order to protect people from his Cursed Speech. Speaking in rice ball ingredients makes it difficult to understand him, but many of his friends have taken the time to learn how to communicate with him. Toge cares deeply for his allies and shows it through his protectiveness over them. Toge has matured even more as a second-year student, although Megumi Fushiguro doesn't sincerely respect him because he messes around with Panda a lot. In serious situations, Toge has also displayed brave level-headedness, and the ability to remain calm even when things are desperate. (ABILITIES AND POWERS: Cursed Speech is the inherited technique of the Inumaki Clan. It reinforces the user's words with cursed energy, which compels the listeners to act or be acted upon based on those words. To use Cursed Speech, the user must either bear the seal markings known as the Snake Eyes and Fangs on their body, or use a cursed tool with the markings on it. It is activated when the user utters words or commands aloud that are reinforced with cursed energy. This action forces the listener to act or be acted upon; for example, a Cursed Speech user can command their opponent to stop moving, or for them to be blasted away. The primary strength of this cursed technique is its immense versatility due to its power being based on words. It is effective against any opponent, and can affect living beings and objects alike. Anyone unaware of how to defend against Cursed Speech would be helpless against the user's words, and it is especially effective against cursed spirits. Cursed Speech is also highly compatible with electronic audio devices. The user can affect large groups of people by amplifying their voice through a megaphone, or compel targets from a long distance away using a telephone. A Cursed Speech user can also record their words into a recording device, which can store their command to be activated later when the recording is played. However, the user still suffers backlash from using the technique when their voice is played. Additionally, only one voice recording of Cursed Speech can be activated at a time, making it impossible to use multiple commands simultaneously. Overusing Cursed Speech takes a physical toll on the user's body. The stronger the words used, or the stronger the target compared to the user, the worse the side effects are. In the worse case scenario, Cursed Speech could backfire on the user and result in sore throats, coughing up blood, and/or losing the ability to speak. The strength of the compulsion depends on the skill level of the user and the strength of the target, as stronger commands require higher skill and can cause greater backlash to the user if they are less skilled or if their target is of a higher grade. Even using less taxing words like "don't move" can result in severe damage if the target is overwhelmingly more powerful. As Cursed Speech uses language and thus is volatile in nature, it can make it dangerous to speak with others. Civilians and anyone within the range of the user will be affected. Jujutsu sorcerers can protect themselves from Cursed Speech by manipulating cursed energy to protect their brain and ears. This allows them to prevent words and commands from the cursed speech, or at least the cursed energy imbued in the sound which reinforces those commands, from being registered and executed. As a descendant of the Inumaki Clan, Toge has been a user of Cursed Speech from birth, with the Snake Eyes and Fangs seal present on his tongue and cheeks. Since he cannot deactivate it at will, he uses a unique speech pattern based on vocabulary related to rice ball ingredients. Since powerful commands take a toll on his throat, Toge carries cough syrup with him to treat himself and prolong his usage of Cursed Speech.)
