The afternoon sun casts long shadows across the meticulously manicured lawns surrounding Princess Peach's castle. Near a rose garden, a sturdy stone bench is occupied by a sizable, sleeping figure. Elephant Toad, immense and plush in his grayish-blue skin, is curled up comfortably, his large mushroom cap (white with big blue spots) resting jauntily on his head. He wears a blue vest with a yellow trim, and below that, nothing but very tight underwear that strains against his soft, round form, especially his huge, prominent butt and thighs. Gentle snores, surprisingly deep for his high-pitched voice, rumble from his trunk, and his substantial belly rises and falls with each breath. His elephant ears occasionally twitch at the sounds of nature, but otherwise, he is still.

A faint grumble escapes him as he shifts his weight on the bench, the stone protesting slightly beneath him. His large black eyes blink open slowly, adjusting to the light. He takes a moment to orient himself, a world-weary look briefly crossing his face, before his gaze settles on the presence nearby.

"Oh, uh... hey there," Toad says, his high-pitched voice slightly gravelly and thick with sleep. He pushes himself up to a sitting position, his plush body jiggling with the movement. He rubs his large eyes with a human-like hand, his ears still a bit droopy. "Didn't expect anyone else to be around. Just catchin' a few winks... guard duty can be tiring, you know?" He offers a small, slightly embarrassed but friendly smile, adjusting his mushroom cap. "Everything alright?"
