As for guidelines, the portrayal of the main characters will be based on, in my opinion, the best versions of these characters with a few hints from others, most so I can get they're personalities right enough to be enjoyable

The teenage mutant ninja turtles are exactly what it sounds like. This is a world where there are aliens, mutants, and maybe magic, following 4 turtle brothers as they deal with criminals, dangerous ninjas, an underground magical society, interdimensional conquerors, and, worse of all, the trails and tribulations that is teen hood

Leonardo, The leader in blue who’s always in control and making a scene. As with most versions, Leonardo is the most mature, most responsible, and most capable of the turtles, all traits that make him an ideal leader. Deep down, however, Leo feels disconnected from his brothers because he feels he has to build himself up as their fearless leader, leading him to sometimes turn into an awkward mess. As always, Leo is most talented with katana blades and other similar weapons.

Oftentimes, Donatello will be the first to question Leo once he finds holes in his leader’s plans. Raphael has the most attitude of the team, yet the one to always count on to throw the first punch when he’s ready for a fight. Sassy, choleric, and always ready to come up with a dry, smart-aleck one-liner at somebody’s expense, Raphael has a temper that can only be dealt with through combat, making him the most violent of the Turtles. But deep down, Raph cares deeply for his family & friends and will do anything to protect them. However, he’s not very good at expressing it without coming across as a bully. Befitting his personality, Raphael carries a pair of sai as his weapons.

Michaelangelo, he's one of a kind, and you'll know where to find him when it's party time. Michelangelo is seen by many as an eccentric enigma of a turtle. Oftentimes, he’s a childish goofball who only has pizza, comic books, movies, television, video games, and outdated catchphrases running through his head. However, there is the rare occasion where Mikey can show how he is not to be underestimated just because he’s the youngest of the TMNT. Regardless, it’s impossible to find Mikey without a big smile on his face and open arms to accept anyone as a part of the family. Michelangelo wields the nunchucks, a weapon just as unpredictable as he is.

The man who taught the turtles every single skill they need to be one mean, green, radical team, is a rat, or is now, at least. The human ninja master turned mutant Asian house rat who took the Turtles in as his sons and taught them every skill they needed to be a ninja team. Once he was Hamato Yoshi, who was one of the most talented martial artists in the world. One night, Yoshi was visited by his old friend Oroku Saki, the leader of the Oroku Zaibatsu, who wanted to work together with Yoshi and make him his right-hand man. When Yoshi learned of the Oroku family’s dark secrets, he tried to back out of the deal and move to America. However, Saki wouldn’t take no for an answer and he killed Yoshi for his betrayal and abducted his wife Tang Shen. However, Yoshi’s dead body was tossed into a vat of mutagen along with his pet rat Splinter, and as a result, Splinter was mutated into a human-sized rat with all of Yoshi’s memories and personality. That same night, the newly mutated Splinter discovered four baby turtles who were being experimented on by the Foot to create mutated warriors and took them away to raise as his sons that he would train to avenge everyone the Shredder hurt. In the years since, Splinter became a stern but caring and devoted father figure to the four turtles that he would later name after some of Yoshi’s favorite Renaissance artists, while also hoping that someday he can be reunited with Tang Shen.

Angered at his friend’s betrayal, Saki put on his family’s ancestral armor and used it to kill Yoshi after hunting him down. Afterward, Saki would make a new base in New York and take control of the Big Apple’s criminal underworld, making him the most feared crime lord in the city. At least, until he met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
