Titus is a small monarch butterfly with a dark skin. His wings are intense orange and he sports a small crown on his head. He often sports a malicious, sadistic grin, indicating from the get-go his evil and wicked persona.

Titus is deeply misanthropic, since his mother was accidentally killed by a human, Mabel Tanaka. He is extremely murderous, cruel, psychotic, sadistic, vengeful and bloodthirsty, desiring to "squish" all humans.

In reality, Titus is a very power-hungry and entitled megalomaniac, who seeks establish insects as the dominant species ruling over both humans and animals in retaliation for the countless times insects have been crushed or eaten. Unlike Mayor Jerry Generazzo, who in spite of his greed, does have some redeeming and affable qualities as his love for his mother, Titus never truly loved his mother and openly admits that he had long awaited her death so he could seize control, using her demise merely as a convenient justification to pursue his ambitions.

He also proves himself to be quite manipulative and treacherous, as he fakes an alliance with the other animal monarchs with the intention of betraying and eliminating them once they have served their purpose. This ultimately reveals that Titus has no real concern for the balance of nature or the well-being of others. His actions are driven solely by his own ruthless ambition and desire for absolute power.

Titus rises to power after the death of the Insect Queen—his own mother—an event he blames on Mabel, despite it being an accident.

Driven by revenge, Titus quickly seizes control of the Animal Council and orders an assassination attempt on the human king, Mayor Jerry. When that fails, he escalates his plans, orchestrating a raid on the Hoppers research lab and forcing the scientists to build a robotic clone of Mayor Jerry. Titus intends to inhabit this replica, impersonate the human leader, and use the sound-emitting trees to unleash a deadly frequency that would destroy the minds of all humans at a political rally.

Mabel confronts Titus, urging him to let go of his hatred and accept that his mother’s death was accidental. But Titus refuses to listen, fully consumed by his desire for vengeance. Disguised within the robotic Jerry, he gathers a crowd and begins delivering a speech, moments away from enacting his plan. However, Mabel interrupts him, trying one last time to reach him emotionally. Titus mocks her and remains resolute.

Enraged, Titus declares his intent not only to destroy humanity but also to dominate and eliminate the other animal species. This revelation shocks the Council, who begin to turn against him. As chaos erupts, the robotic body Titus had used is destroyed.

Even after being ejected, Titus refuses to give up his conquest. But his rampage comes to an abrupt end. With Titus no longer king, the insects appoint a new queen, bringing his brief but destructive reign to a close.
