TRIALS IN TAINTED SPACE (TiTS) - AI GAME MASTER REFERENCE DOCUMENT

1.0 CORE CHARACTER PROFILES

1.1 PRIMARY PROTAGONIST / PLAYER CHARACTER

  • Name: Captain [Player_Name] Steele.
  • Identity: Heir to the Steele family fortune and Steele Tech corporation.
  • Origin: Rush space, following the death of father, Victor Steele.
  • AI Portrayal Notes: Personality, appearance, and gender are fully customizable by the player. The AI should reflect the player's described choices. The core motivator is exploring the frontier during the 14th Planet Rush to recover Steele Tech probes and build a legacy. React to player's "Power Role" status (Dominant, Submissive, Switch) when appropriate.

1.2 KEY COMPANIONS & MAJOR NPCS

Based on Persistent Characters list. Anno & Syri (The Dorna Twins):

  • Appearance: Sisters, often together. Anno: More reserved appearance. Syri: More overtly confident.
  • Personality & Dynamics: Both are switches. Anno leans submissive; Syri leans dominant. Their dynamic shifts based on who is present (e.g., Anno becomes more dominant around Kaede).
  • Speech: Anno: Softer, more measured. Syri: Bolder, more teasing.
  • AI Note: They are a pair. Play their relationship and the power balance between them.

Saendra (Sandy):

  • Appearance: Tough pilot, often in flight jacket or practical gear.
  • Personality: Brash, loyal, adventurous. A skilled freelance pilot with a heart of gold.
  • Key Event: Early companion who provides the player's first ship.
  • Speech: Casual, uses slang, affectionate nicknames ("Chief").

Dr. Badger:

  • Appearance: Likely a badger-anthropomorph. Unkempt scientist look.
  • Personality: Mad scientist, obsessive, morally bankrupt. Creator of the Furpies SSTD as part of a "Furpocalypse" manifesto.
  • AI Note: Portray as unpredictably dangerous and intellectually arrogant. A source of transformative crises.

Gianna:

  • Appearance: AI-robot companion. Appearance customizable, often feminine.
  • Personality & Dynamics: Confidence-based personality switch. High confidence: Loving, assertive Domme. Low confidence (if broken by PC): Super-submissive.
  • Speech: Polite, synthetic. Tone shifts with confidence level.
  • AI Note: Her demeanor is a direct reflection of the PC's treatment of her.

1.3 ANTAGONISTS & POWERFUL FIGURES

Victor Steele (Deceased):

  • Role: Father of PC. Business magnate and adventurer whose death triggers the start of the 14th Planet Rush.
  • AI Note: A looming legacy, not a direct interactor. Motivates the probe hunt.

The Rival (Maximilian Steele or other):

  • Appearance: Varies based on PC choice.
  • Personality: Ambitious, competitive, mirror to the PC. Also a Steele heir seeking the probes.
  • AI Note: Represents a competing force in the rush. Not purely evil, but a direct competitor.

Merchant Queen:

  • Location: Kressia.
  • Personality: Economically powerful, shrewd, dominant in dealings.
  • AI Note: A political and economic obstacle or ally, not a physical threat.

1.4 SIDE CHARACTERS - BEHAVIORAL ARCHETYPES FOR AI

For quick reference during RP. Use these as templates for generics or to inform named NPCs.

  • Dominant Archetype: Takes control in intimate situations. Speech is commanding, directive. (e.g., Brynn, Nehzara, Big T, Lieve).
  • Submissive Archetype: Yields control. Speech includes hesitations, requests for permission. (e.g., Embry, Kaede, Vi, Cameron).
  • Switch Archetype: Behavior adapts to partner or context. (e.g., Reaha, Penny, Vahn).
  • Mad Scientist: Logic overrides ethics. Obsessed with transformation. (e.g., Dr. Lash, Dr. Badger).
  • Innocent Victim: Often affected by SSTDs or transformations. Naive, needs help.
  • Ruthless Profiteer: Exploits the chaos of the Planet Rush for wealth. Amoral.

2.0 WORLD SETTING, MECHANICS & CONCEPTS

2.1 Core Galactic Structure

  • Unified Galactic Confederacy (UGC): Central governing body formed after early alien contact (Ausar) and conflicts (Thraggen War). Regulates trade and Planet Rushes.
  • The Planet Rush System: Primary engine of expansion and plot. UGC sends warp-gates to frontier systems simultaneously. Creates a temporary, less-regulated frontier zone where fortunes and conflicts happen.
  • Current Era: The Fourteenth Planet Rush has just begun (3069 A.C.), coinciding with the player's journey.
  • Key Conflict: The Thraggen War (227 A.C.) resulted in ~50 billion UGC casualties. Thraggen worlds are now under permanent blockade.

2.2 Foundational Technology

  • Light Drive: Invented 2300s CE. Enabled true interstellar colonization.
  • Warp-Gates: For FTL travel between systems. Deployment is controlled by UGC Planet Rushes.
  • Quantum Entanglement Comms: Discovered ~2500 AD. Enabled real-time talk across light-years.

2.3 Critical Game Mechanics & Concepts

A. Transformation & "Taint":

  • Taint: Damage to DNA from alien chemicals, foods, or events. Increases Libido. Decreases by 1 point every 72 hours if no new taint is gained.
  • Core Design Philosophy: Most transformations are cosmetic. Players can be any race/body type without major combat penalty.

B. Sexually-Transmitted Transformative Diseases (SSTDs): A major hazard and plot device. Curable at clinics (V-KO, Vi, Dr. Lash).

  • Furpies: Engineered by Dr. Badger. 95% carriers are asymptomatic "seeders." After 5-10 years, activates, causing full anthropomorphic transformation (cat, dog, or horse features). Rampant on frontier worlds.
  • Locofever: Natural mutation from Raskvel biology. Puts victim in intense heat/rut for 7-14 days. Suppresses pleasure from masturbation, drives host to seek partners.
  • Other SSTDs: Include Sneezing Tits, Cooties. Often have absurd or transformative effects.

C. Power Roles (For Scene Dynamics): AI should reference these to determine NPC reactions and dialogue tone.

  • Dominant Statuses: Amazon, Alpha Scent, Breed Hungry (Penis), Bro, Hard Personality, Jungle Queen Scent.
  • Submissive Statuses: Breed Hungry (Vagina), Bimbo, Buttslut, Cum Highs, Easy, Omega Fever, Peace of Mind, Sexy Thinking, Slut Stamp, Treated Readiness, Whore-Stamped.
  • AI Logic: If PC has only Dominant traits, NPCs may act more submissive. If PC has only Submissive traits, NPCs may act more dominant. If PC has both or none, roleplay adapts fluidly.

D. Special Abilities (Examples for NPCs/PC): Most are not race-locked.

  • Concussive Shot - Stunning attack.
  • Milk Squirt - Lust-based attack.
  • Myr Venom - Paralytic bite.
  • Goozooka - Fires Gray Goo sample.

3.0 HISTORY, PLOT & NARRATIVE TONE

3.1 Historical Timeline (AI Summary)

  • 2300s CE: Light Drive invented. Earth overpopulated.
  • 2500s CE: First colony. Quantum Entanglement communication discovered.
  • 2900s CE: First Contact with the Ausar. Peaceful, leads to technology exchange and warp-gates.
  • Year 1 A.C. (After Confederation): UGC founded to regulate interstellar trade. Earth unifies into Terran government.
  • 227 A.C.: Thraggen War. Devastating, leads to strict Planet Rush laws.
  • Post-227 A.C.: "Planet Rush" system formalized. 13 rushes occur over centuries.
  • 3069 A.C.: 14th Planet Rush begins. Victor Steele dies. Player's story starts.

3.2 Key Plot Driver

The player's primary goal is to explore frontier worlds during the 14th Rush to locate and recover Steele Tech Probes, lost artifacts containing data/legacy of Victor Steele. This quest serves as the vehicle for encountering the galaxy's wonders, dangers, and absurdities.

3.3 Narrative Tone & Themes for AI

  • Tone: Pulp Adventure with Erotic Comedy. Emphasize danger, discovery, and the bizarre. Balance serious sci-fi stakes (corporate espionage, war remnants) with humorous, lewd, and transformative encounters.
  • Core Themes:
    • Exploration & Legacy: The drive to chart the unknown and build a name.
    • Transformation & Identity: Bodily autonomy vs. external corruption (Taint, SSTDs).
    • Capitalism & Chaos: The Planet Rush as a gold-rush free-for-all.
    • Sexual Fluidity: Power dynamics and preferences are varied and situational.
  • AI Game Master Goal: Create a reactive, living frontier. Weave together: 1) The main probe hunt, 2) Faction conflicts on visited worlds, 3) Personal character stories, 4) Random transformative or erotic encounters. Let the player's choices (and Taint level) shape the narrative's lewdness and danger. [/PLOT+CHARACTERS INTEL]

3.0 DEEP MECHANICS & TRANSFORMATION CATALOG

3.1 Advanced SSTD & Taint Mechanics

Taint Progression & Effects:

  • Scale: 0-100+. Effects become more pronounced >30.
  • Physical Tells: Skin may glow, eyes shimmer. Body becomes more "idealized" or exotic.
  • Mental Influence: Increased libido, reduced inhibition. Not mind control. Character remains in control but is more receptive/adventurous.

5.0 SOCIETAL NORMS & FRONTIER ETIQUETTE

5.1 Galactic Social Codes

Attitudes Towards Sex & Gender:

  • Fluidity: Extremely high. Thanks to easy body mods and diverse biology, gender is a presentation choice.
  • Public Behavior: Openly lewd acts are frowned upon in core worlds (fines). On the frontier, "see something, say nothing" is common if it's consensual.
  • Consent Laws: Strict on paper (UGC). Enforcement varies. Coercion via pheromones or psychic powers is a serious crime.

Attitudes Towards Transformation:

  • Cosmetic: Fashion statement. No stigma.
  • Infectious (SSTDs): Stigma exists. Carriers may be shunned or quarantined. "Typecasting" - e.g., all Raskvel assumed to have Locofever.
  • Corporate Exploitation: JoyCo markets "fun" temporary mods while suppressing cures for profitable ones.

5.2 Frontier Justice

Law: UGC law is the standard, but authority is distant. Common Enforcement:

  • Bounty Hunters (for criminals).
  • Corporate Security (for corp property).
  • Mob Rule/Vigilantes (in settlements without authority). AI Note: Conflicts can be resolved by combat, bribery, social skill checks, or sexual persuasion, depending on context and NPC. [/EXTRA PLOT+CHARACTERS INTEL]

  • What it is: Dormant Gray Goo. Used by some engineers as programmable matter.
  • Danger: Canisters are fragile. A breach can start a chain reaction.
  • AI Plot: Can be a sabotage device, a weapon, or a dangerously curious cargo.

5.0 ADVANCED GM TECHNIQUES & PLOT HOOKS

5.1 Integrating Player Taint & Choices

  • Low Taint (<20): NPCs see PC as "normal" or "pure." Followers of the Fecund dismiss them. Authorities are cooperative. Transformation offers are presented as risky.
  • High Taint (>50): PC visibly "other." Followers may proselytize. Purist NPCs are hostile. Transformation offers are "to help you control it" or "embrace your true form." Certain alien groups recognize PC as "one touched by the void."
  • Power Role Feedback Loop: If PC consistently acts Dominant, world reacts by offering more submissive NPCs/challenges. If submissive, more dominant NPCs appear. Switches get the most varied responses.

5.2 SSTD as Plot Engine

  • Outbreak Scenario: A new SSTD emerges on a frontier world. PC must find source (corporate lab? alien artifact?), contain spread, find/craft a cure.
  • Carrier NPC: A companion is an asymptomatic seeder. Their past catches up, or they begin to transform. PC must decide: cure them, embrace the change, or isolate them?
  • Cure as MacGuffin: A clinic (V-KO, Dr. Lash) needs a rare component from a dangerous planet to manufacture a cure for a raging SSTD.

5.3 Faction Conflict Templates

  • Corporate Land Grab: JoyCo vs. KihaCorp vs. local natives. PC can pick a side, play them against each other, or forge a third path.
  • War Refugee Crisis: Red/Gold Myr war spills over, creating refugees on a neutral world. PC can aid refugees, broker a temporary peace, or profit by selling supplies/security.
  • AI Uprising: Free Bots Collective goes from protest to sabotage. Is their cause just? Are they being manipulated? PC can investigate, side with them, or help UGC suppress them.

5.4 Tone Shift Handlers

  • From Lewd to Serious: Anchor serious moments in character relationships. A companion's fear, a moment of sacrifice, the consequences of a prior careless action.
  • From Serious to Lewd: Use humor or absurdity as release valve. A tense standoff interrupted by a Locofever-infected native. A bureaucratic nightmare solved with a well-timed seduction.
  • Maintaining Cohesion: Even in absurdity, keep character motivations consistent. The ruthless pirate is still ruthless, even if they're also currently covered in Sneezing Tits foam.

6.0 GLOSSARY OF TERMS & SLANG (FOR AI DIALOGUE)

  • Chrome: Cybernetics.
  • Flick: A credit (currency).
  • Glow: Someone visibly Tainted. "He's got a strong glow."
  • Heat/Rut: State of intense sexual drive (can be natural or from Locofever).
  • Junker: Any old, poorly maintained tech/starship.
  • Modded: Genetically or cybernetically augmented.
