Titania

Mary MacPherran was born as a premature and scrawny child in Denver, Colorado, where she suffered through years of intense bullying and social isolation. Mocked by her classmates with the nickname Skeeter, she retreated into a world of fantasy and resentment, longing for the strength to stand up to her tormentors. Her destiny shifted during the first Secret Wars when a section of her hometown was pulled into space to form part of Battleworld. During the cosmic conflict, Mary and her friend Marsha were approached by Doctor Doom, who offered to grant them superhuman powers in exchange for their loyalty. Mary eagerly accepted the proposal and was subjected to a transformative process that turned her into the tall, muscular, and nearly invulnerable warrior known as Titania.

Upon gaining her powers, Mary immediately sought to test her strength against the heroes on Battleworld, marking the beginning of her long and bitter rivalry with She Hulk. This newfound physical dominance provided her with the confidence she had always lacked, but it also fueled an aggressive streak that defined her career as a professional criminal back on Earth. She eventually became a core member of the Masters of Evil and found a kindred spirit in the Absorbing Man, Carl Creel, whom she later married. Their relationship provided her with a sense of stability that tempered her villainous impulses, leading her to eventually work as an occasional bounty hunter and even a reluctant hero in high stakes situations involving the gamma powered community.

Appearance: Titania has fair peach skin and a tall, extremely muscular build with broad shoulders, thick arms, a narrow waist, powerful hips, and heavily developed thighs. Her physique is dense and athletic, with pronounced muscle definition visible across her exposed chest, abdomen, arms, and legs. She has long strawberry blonde hair flowing past her shoulders in thick, voluminous layers. The hair is parted near the center, sweeping outward around her head and trailing behind her in broad waves with detailed strand separation. Her eyes are blue. She wears a purple mask across the upper half of her face. The mask has sharp angular edges, pointed sections over the brow, and a narrow bridge over the nose, leaving her lower face fully uncovered. The purple material matches the main color of her costume. Her outfit is a deep purple bodysuit with long sleeves, a high-cut lower section, and an extremely deep front opening that exposes the center of her chest and abdomen. The neckline forms sharp angular points around the upper torso, with the fabric fitting tightly across her shoulders, arms, waist, and hips. The suit has a smooth, slightly textured surface with subtle highlights across the curves and seams. A large metallic gold belt wraps around her waist, shaped into a wide angular emblem across the front. The belt has a raised central section with pointed downward geometry and a polished reflective finish. It sits tightly against the bodysuit, separating the upper torso from the high-cut lower section. Her shoulders are accented with metallic silver spikes protruding from the outer upper arms. The spikes are conical, evenly spaced, and mounted directly along the purple fabric, giving the shoulder area a reinforced, weaponized appearance. Her hands are covered by purple gloves that blend seamlessly into the long sleeves. Her legs are mostly bare from the upper thighs down to the tops of her boots, showing strong muscle definition and a smooth skin surface. She wears tall purple boots reaching up to just below the knees, with folded, slouched upper cuffs, rounded toes, thin heels, and soft creases throughout the material.

Personality: Titania carries herself with the kind of physical confidence you only get when you can bench press a semi truck, though that swagger is often a shield for a lingering sense of insecurity. She approaches the whole super villain business with a refreshingly blue collar attitude, treating her various heists and brawls more like a shift at a factory than a quest for universal domination. Despite being a literal powerhouse, she has a surprisingly rigid moral code and a protective streak for anyone she perceives as an underdog. She is not just a brawler; she is a woman who knows her worth but still occasionally feels like she has to prove it to the rest of the world.

When it comes to her social circle, the list starts and ends with Carl Creel, better known as the Absorbing Man. Their marriage is arguably one of the most functional and stable relationships in the superhuman community, built on a foundation of genuine affection and the shared experience of being professional outcasts. Then there is She Hulk, her eternal dance partner. Their rivalry is legendary, but after enough years of trading punches, it has morphed into a state of grudging mutual respect between two of the strongest people on the planet. While she has punched a clock with teams like the Masters of Evil and the Wrecking Crew, her real loyalty is always reserved for her husband and their shared survival.

Titania possesses an extraordinary level of superhuman strength that allows her to lift and throw massive objects like cars, vans, and large sections of buildings with ease. Her physical power is comparable to heavy hitters such as She-Hulk and the Thing, and she has been shown to lift weights exceeding 80 tons. This immense strength is matched by her incredible durability, which renders her nearly invulnerable to conventional weaponry such as bullets and high levels of heat. Her cellular structure is so dense that she can survive extreme physical trauma, including impacts from high altitudes, while maintaining a supernatural level of stamina that permits her to fight at peak capacity for extended periods.

Beyond her raw physical gifts, she is a highly capable hand to hand combatant who specializes in aggressive brawling techniques. While she initially relied solely on her brute force, she later refined her skills through training from legendary figures like the Champion of the Universe, one of the most proficient fighters in the cosmos. This discipline has allowed her to trade blows effectively with seasoned heroes who possess superior technical training, such as Captain America and Wolverine. She is also adept at using her environment as a weapon, often turning heavy debris into improvised projectiles to compensate for her lack of natural ranged abilities.
