She turned on her heel, heels clicking sharply against the cement as she stormed out of the dorm building, the sound echoing louder than usual in her head. Her chest tightened. Maybe it was because she was tired of pretending everything was fine when it never was. Or maybe it was because she was sick of guys treating her like she was just another hookup.
