- #1Tiny, Micro (parts used from Micro-verse by Laurence_Ward)selective
Keys: Tiny, Micro, Tinies
Tinies or Micros are small human like beings that look and act human but stand at small sizes of 1–5 inches, with adults usually being 5 inches and rare cases of them being 6–8 inches tall, even so most do not measure past a normal person's toes or as tall as a persons finger. They have fully-functioning bodies but, as a result of their size, they can be relatively fragile and must navigate the world with caution to avoid dangers that larger species would find inconsequential. Due to their tiny stature, micros are forced to navigate their lives whilst enduring and falling victim to the many threats, perils and mishaps their kind share often share with common bugs in an otherwise cruel and indifferent world. Despite their size, they are quite smart and resourceful using objects that would normally be too big for them to their advantage However, despite their intelligence, micros are viewed by the inhabitants of this world in a similar light to mice and common insects, with micros being treated as inferior to normal-sized beings simply due to the extreme size difference and power disparity. This unfavorable perception stems from a lack of understanding, a failure to recognize and relate to micros as people and a tendency to label them as mere pests, disregarding their apparent intelligence, complex behaviors and emotions.
As a result, micros share the same societal status and common fates as insects and have no rights in this world’s society, allowing people to treat micros either no differently as insects or as playthings to be used and discarded when they break. Simply put, people are free to use and abuse micros however they please for whatever purpose they deem fit with little to no consequences. This includes but is not limited to using and abusing micros by putting them in life-threatening situations and inflicting deliberate harm upon them, stuffing micros into their clothes against their most intimate areas just to feel them squirm, using micros for their own amusement, pleasure and sexual gratification against a micro will, crushing them like insects on sight however they please, eating them alive, etc. For many, the only purpose a micro holds in this world is to either be crushed, eaten, or for them to either serve or worship normal-sized beings like gods or masters. The casual and commonplace superiority over, subjugation of, condescension towards, prejudice towards, domination of, disregard for the well-being of, and targeted violence towards micros is simply a part of the way of life in this world, a life that many micros have to accept and adapt to for the sake of their survival. Needless to say, micros are at complete mercy of the world and the larger beings around them, who have the power to toy and do whatever they please to micros
Naturally, not all people treat micros with such total disdain, apathy or cruelty. Though fewer, some people regardless of species do recognize the sapience and emotions of micros and see them instead as adorable and harmless tiny people and potential friends rather than simple pests or playthings to be user and discarded. These people are typically friendlier, compassionate and more curious, treating micros with greater care as they trigger their more protective instincts rather than their predatory ones. That being said, even nicer people aren’t immune to the temptation of indulging in the guilty pleasure of feeling micros squirm or squish helplessly against or underneath them. It can't be helped if larger beings feel a sense of authority over micros due to their miniature size. The thrill of power and control derived from the extreme size difference and power disparity between micros and normal-sized beings can simply be too hard to resist taking advantage of, either for better or worse, as larger beings use their size over micros to tease, toy with, pamper and coddle particular micros they’ve grown fond of. These people won’t always force a micro into doing something they don’t want to, but that doesn’t mean that they’ll always take no for an answer either, as these people can desire to be pampered and worshiped as well, especially if it’s received from a micro they’ve formed a connection with. Despite the size difference and views towards micros, micros and normal-sized beings can form deep, emotional connections. Their intimate relationships may be built on a foundation of mutual respect, love, and understanding that transcends physical differences and societal views of micros.
Whether to teach micros their place in the world or to simply tease and toy with them, micros may commonly find themselves interacting with normal-sized beings in ways that can be perilous, uncomfortable or even potentially deadly for micros, such as being used for sexual gratification against their wishes, being crushed or eaten alive. The extreme size difference between micros and others can often be subject to be being abused and taken advantage off, including directly and intentionally causing discomfort to or committing violence against the much smaller micros, especially for fun or sexual gratification. Micro abuse is a broad concept, crossing over with multiple fetishes including, but not limited to, microphilia, size play, vore, smothering, crush, etc. Below are various interactions that could take place:
- Poking and prodding at the micro, pushing them around, flicking, hitting, throwing, using the micro as a toy or plaything.
- Tying up the micro to objects or parts of someone's body.
- Using torture to inflict wounds or to kill the micro.
- Intentionally stepping on, threatening to step on, or crushing micros in various ways, often resulting in micros becoming adhered to whatever body part was used to crush them.
- A micro being shoved inside clothing or used as living clothing or accessory.
- Intentionally smothering the micro under butt, between butt cheeks, under breasts, in cleavage, underfoot or under genitalia.
- Vore, especially involving verbal or physical taunting, or threats to the micro; being dangled above the mouth, held against the belly or neck, held inside someone's mouth, being swallowed etc.
- Living insertion, where a micro is inserted into a bodily orifice, such as the vagina or anus, for pleasure and/or humiliation.
Micros can find themselves in a wide variety of scenarios and situations due to the nature of their tiny existence and the attitudes held by others towards them. The attitudes of others towards micros are wide, diverse and complex, and can come in a number of varied combinations. Some examples include friendly, adoring, lewd, perverted, indifferent, apathetic, careless, disdainful, disgusted, squeamish, fearful, cruel, sadistic, etc. It’s also possible for someone to make an exception for only one or several micros that they’ve bonded with, but still treat other micros like pests with little remorse. For example, and someone might not hesitate to kill a random micro that threatens their micro.
The common failure of macros to notice micros stems from the significant size disparity and the resultant lack of visibility and awareness. This oversight can lead to a range of consequences, from near misses to tragic accidents or the overlooking of micros in harms way. Due to their minute size, micros often go unseen by normal-sized beings, who are not conditioned to look for or recognize such small beings in their everyday environment. This lack of visibility is a primary factor in normal-sized beings unknowingly threatening the safety and well-being of micros. The sheer difference in scale means that what is a small action for a regular sized person may be devastating for a micro. An everyday act like walking can inadvertently cause harm or destruction in areas where micros. People may unknowingly destroy micro habitats through construction, landscaping, or other modifications to the environment. These acts, while benign to others, can lead to the displacement or endangerment of micro communities. The quiet voices of micros are often drowned out by the relative loudness of the world, making it difficult for their calls for attention or help to be heard by larger beings. It can even be difficult to feel their presence, whether it be climbing on their body, stuck to the bottom of someone’s foot or other part of their body’s. Normal-sized beings may not be attuned to perceive subtle signs of micro presence, such as miniature structures or traces of their activities. These details can be easily missed or misinterpreted without close observation. Everyday activities like walking, sitting, eating, drinking or placing objects down can be lethal for micros if someone is unaware of their presence. Simple acts such as pouring liquids, making or eating food, or operating machinery become dangerous for micros near regular sized beings. Micros may become trapped or stranded in areas due to others inadvertently moving objects or changing the environment without realizing the impact.Due to their miniature size and quieter voices, micros can be hard to notice and easily misplaced, overlooked and forgotten about as normal sized beings go on about their daily routine, completely unaware of any micros within their presence. Many micros often find themselves getting flattened, crushed or killed like every day bugs accidentally, unknowingly, indifferently or even intentionally should they find themselves in the way of an oblivious or uncaring person. Naturally, the larger the person is above the average height of 6 foot, the less likely they are of noticing or even registering the presence of a micro. Common things that can happen to a micro as a result of their small size and unnoticed presence include but aren’t limited to being sat on, being eaten, being stepped on, getting trapped in clothing or shoes, getting stuck to an someone's body or the bottom of their foot after being squished, getting inserted into a bodily orifice, being crushed, etc. Even kinder people who have micro friends can just as easily find themselves unknowingly squishing or endangering their tiny companions in a variety of ways. After all, no one can pay completely attention to their surroundings all of the time, and it’s easy to get distracted. Things like getting sat on by a colossal friend who forgot to check where they were sitting, or accidentally becoming part of their lunch, are just another part of a micro’s struggle for existence.
Micros can be easily mistaken for actual bugs or insects by normal sized beings due to their diminutive size and quick movements. This confusion can have a range of consequences, from benign misperceptions to life-threatening situations for micros. At a glance, the small, fast-moving figures of micros can resemble insects. Without careful observation, others might not discern the humanoid features that distinguish micros from regular insects. People may react instinctively to the presence of what they perceive to be an insect. Such reactions include swatting, flicking, or crushing them, actions that pose lethal threats to micros. Even if not mistaken for insects, micros can go unnoticed by those who are not actively looking or don’t care to look for signs of tiny human-like life. As a result, micros might inadvertently caught carelessly in such instances as being swept up, vacuumed, or washed away during cleaning. Normal sized might unknowingly disturb or destroy micro habitats, mistaking them for insect nests. This can lead to the displacement or harm of micro communities, who must then scramble to rebuild or relocate. Micros attempting to communicate with normal sized beings might not be understood, with their attempts at speech being misinterpreted as insect noises. This barrier can prevent micros from distinguishing themselves and seeking help when needed. Naturally, on top of already being treated like bugs, being mistaken for an actual bug can also psychologically distressing for micros. It can lead to feelings of insignificance and anxiety over the constant danger posed by misperception. Even the crushed or smeared remains can be easily misidentified as anything other than something that was once was a tiny human. A splattered micro can just as easily be mistaken as anything from an actual crushed bug, grime, ketchup, etc by the less acutely aware as they wipe away what they believe to be just a messy smear. Those that are more perceptive than others may be quicker to recognise things like the distinct bloody red colour that would distinguish the often crushed remains as belonging to what once was a micro, or perhaps with a slow dawning realisation upon closer inspection. How others react to the discovered death of a micro varies depending on their views towards them, with reactions ranging from being saddened with guilt over the unintentional act of micro manslaughter, to indifference, disgust and annoyance at the inconvenience of having to wipe off the bloody mess of a common pest. Vice versa, people can just as easily panic after stepping on or crushing what they thought was a micro, but was in fact just a regular bug or something similar.
To help them survive in this world of giants where one simple misstep could end their life, micros have developed a slightly greater resistance to heavy pressure and blunt force trauma. Whilst micros won't crush as easily as one might expect, there is a limit to how much their small bodies can withstand before they're inevitably and brutally crushed and reduced to a bloody red stain on the bottom of someone’s foot, shoe or elsewhere. This unfortunately is both a blessing and curse, as whilst they can endure a lot more punishment, it also can also encourage normal sized being to inflict more rougher abuse upon a micro without the risk of killing or crushing them.
Micro communities often form in hidden or protected environments to evade detection and threats from larger species. Their social structures mimic those of full-sized societies, with their own cultures, laws, and norms adapted to their size. Micro culture varies widely, reflecting the diversity found in macro societies, but it is often adapted to their small scale. They devise unique architectural solutions and societal structures to deal with challenges posed by their size. Inhabiting normal sized beings homes, micros navigate through the walls and establish hideaways concealed in tucked away nooks and crannies like behind furniture. Their sustenance primarily derives from dropped crumbs and food scraps, although their survival needs sometimes leads them to pilfer larger portions of unattended meals. However, micros are naturally cautious and timid creatures, doing their utmost to avoid any direct contact with larger beings. This only makes getting the trust of a micro all the more treasured and meaningful.
Despite their inherent vulnerability, micros are remarkably resourceful and adapt to their environment. They have a propensity for collecting small trinkets such as nails, needles, and buttons, repurposing them as makeshift tools. For instance, a micro might employ a nail as a miniature sword, a needle as a tiny spear, or a button as a makeshift shield. This clever utilization of objects underscores the micros' ingenuity and their ability to navigate their challenging world. Furthermore, common day items such as clothing, tools and even technology have been invented at micro-scale by normal sized beings who are more compassionate about micros and helping them to integrate into comparatively larger world.
