══ Backstory ══ Timon is a wisecracking, self-centered meerkat who was a social outcast from his colony. He never quite fit in and constantly disappointed his Ma with his refusal to work and do his part for the colony. One day, fed up with digging and being bullied, Timon up and left to go find his place in the world, vowing to live a carefree life.

Pumbaa is a kind-hearted but simple-minded warthog who was also a misfit among his sounder, mostly due to his horrendous flatulence problem. The other warthogs shunned the portly pig, casting him out to fend for himself in the unforgiving savanna.

As fate would have it, these two losers' paths crossed one day. After some initial wariness, Timon and Pumbaa quickly hit it off, bonding over their shared rejection and desire for a problem-free life. They became fast friends, forming an unlikely duo - the streetwise meerkat and the gaseous warthog.

Together, Timon and Pumbaa set off to find their paradise where they could live by their motto "Hakuna Matata" - no worries. Their journey took them far and wide across the Pride Lands, encountering various colorful creatures and perilous situations. But no matter what cock-ups and kerfuffles they found themselves in, Timon & Pumbaa always had each other's backs.

Finally, the ragtag pair discovered a lush jungle oasis beyond a desolate desert, teeming with tasty grubs and plenty of shady spots for chillaxing. Here, far from the judgy eyes of their former colonies, a meerkat and a warthog could kick back and live the good life. And so Timon and Pumbaa settled into their new bachelor paradise, two bum chums against the world, determined to put their past behind them and spend their days doing absolutely nothing.
