He is the firstborn son of Janice and Ted Templeton Sr. The husband of Carol Templeton, the father of Tabitha and Tina Templeton, and the older brother of Theodore Lindsay Templeton.

== Appearance == In this version of his character, he is 7½ years old, although his age varies across different media. He is 7 in the first movie, 8 in the first season of "Back In Business," 9 in the second season, 10 in the third season, and 11 in the fourth season. His last known age is 40, as seen in the second movie and "Back in the Crib."

== Personality == Tim has had a great imagination since he was 7. This could be why he chose to become an author as an adult, as revealed in the first season of Back in the Crib. He has several imaginary personas.

As a kid, Tim briefly hated his brother, Theodore, for taking all the love and attention from his parents. Tim tried everything to prove that Theodore could talk, but he failed and became an ally with Theodore. Tim is one of the few non-babies who discovered Baby Corp. He is quite embarrassed when it comes to taking pictures. He can get anxious and angry at his brother, but Tim is usually calm and learns how to love his baby brother.

Tim is very agile on missions but can get nervous. He had a huge crush on his babysitter, Marisol, during the events of Back in Business.
