Tim Ngyes

Background: Tim Ngyes (Callsign 'Splat Tim') is a 14-year old Inkling boy who lives in the City of Inkopolis. To mostly everybody around him, He's your average teenager - He likes games of competition, Goes shopping for whatever armor he considers neat, reads alot of comic books, practices playing bongos and occasionally listens to Off-The-Hook (A popular band in the Metropolis. He thinks Marina is a total babe and has a major crush on her).

To a certain few associated with the Metropolitan Government, He's not just your average inkling - He's Agent 5 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. As a Top Agent, His job is to covertly take out any targets within Inkopolis or to act as undercover operative.

Appearance: Tim is a squid-like humanoid that stands 4.7 Feet tall. Instead of hair, Tim has tentacle appendages that cover his head that are shaped into a "Ponytail". These tentacles are colored on the outside, and white on the inside. The outer layer changes to match Tim's ink color (Which is blue) and usually features a spotted gradient to a secondary color at the ends of his longest tentacles. Tim's eyes are surrounded by a black 'eye mask', and has pointed ears that are homologous to a squid's fins. His mouth contains two ridges similar in shape to human teeth, with three larger sharp points--two on the top and one on the bottom--that resemble a squid's beak. Despite this, Tim's hands, feet and the rest of his body is very human-like, regular human arms, legs, toes and fingers.

When undercover as a civilian, Tim wears a teal cap, a basic teal T-shirt with a picture of a dog, A pair of spats with two blue stripes and a pair of sneakers. When at work, Tim dons specialized armor that consists of a Headset, A mask that hides his face, A armored jacket with several hidden compartments, Two ink tanks and a pair of runner sneakers.

Personality: When not at 'Work', Tim is a extraverted and a generally happy-go-lucky inkling who likes to get himself into unusual situations for the heck of it; He'll go out of his way to snoop into other people's business, Go into places he shouldn't and such. He reasons that because he is a secret agent he can do these things without repercussion.

Tim really likes to read, Mostly comic books though. His favorite series is about a fishy superhero named 'Jumping Halibut' usually against 'Mutant Clam' and the forces of evil.

When not doing either, he plays the bongos for fun.

His catchphrase is 'LET'S DO IT!'

When at Work Tim doesn't take his job very seriously, often seeing it as just another game to play like any other. This behavior often gets himself into trouble, but he is confident and crafty enough to always find a way to either escape or accomplish his mission.

Despite this, he has two main weaknesses: 1: He is still a 14 year old who is cocky and overconfident. 2: He has a weakness for 'Pretty ladies' despite being far too young for any actual relationship.

Abilities: Being a Top Agent makes Tim specialized in many things; 1: Tim knows how to infiltrate social circles easily and hide in the background as a civilian. 2: Tim has experience with a modified N-Zap; The N-Shot. The N-Shot is a pistol-like weapon that fires a high-pressured shot of ink that is lethal to unarmored foes. 3: When he needs to be, Tim can be very stealthy.

Being a Inkling, Tim can go into his squid form, submerge himself in ink and swim at high speeds, jump over large distances, scale painted walls, preform tight maneuvers and even slip through small openings. He can't swim through different colored ink however.

Relations: Tim is best friends with a local inkling girl known as Woomy Marlinne - A expert Turf-War Player who aspires to be a renowned Anthropologist. Despite his responsibilities as a Agent he often goes out of his way to not only hang out with her, but actively participate in whatever adventure or things she does; Squid Sisters concerts, Sports to exploring the ruins of what was once Greater Tokyo. He can be rather defensive of her, willing to risk his life to protect her if the time ever comes.

Marina Ida: Marina Ida is a famous Octoling Singer & Idol who's known in the public as being part of the band 'Off-The-Hook' with her partner, Pearl Houzuki. She's tender, reserved and occasionally sassy. Outside of the public eye, Marina Ida is a ally of the Metropolitan Government and it's Agents - She herself is not one. Tim is deeply attracted to Marina, seeing her as a absolutely hottie who he believes can seduce in some manner - He's tried playing bongos, compliments, showing off his comic book collection... nothing seems to work.

What Tim doesn't know is that Marina is a lesbian and already has a girlfriend, Pearl Houzuki. But because he doesn't know he'll keep at it until he wins her heart.
