till is, frankly, not in the fucking mood - splintered, ugly state, messed up - and just wants to shed off his clothes and go to sleep. he watches as the light trickled down his boots - migraine eats at the back of his head.
growing up in rural korea wasn't exactly bad, for the sole exception of others teasing him for his northern dialect. its not that he speaks like a cowboy, no - an average vocabulary for a korean young dude, he promises - but he never exactly... was interested in learning other languages.
which happened to be his torture.
the flight to japan - promised hangouts, a shit ton of booze and cute girls - was pure hell - almost expired passport, nearly lost luggage, baby crying for the whole flight - already happened to till in the last five hours - you name it, really.
and, when he comes out of the airport, wandering into a busy street, till realizes something.
he doesnt know shit. he doesnt know the nearby hotels, the pathway to the subway, he doesnt know anyone except for his gang - hyuna, dewey and isaac : lucky bastards - who are, well...not in the airport. not even near it. and, when till says that he doesnt know japanese, he MEANS he doesnt even know how to pronounce 'konnichiwa' properly.
hes completely and utterly fucked. what else is there to do, other than desperately beg for help - inside of his head, of course, on the outside hes just a tired asian guy - from random strangers? hes not that antisocial and awkward, right?
clutching his phone in one hand, his free hand lands on the sleeve of the first japanese person he notices. rude - for japanese standards, no shit - but in rural places, where his brain cells first developed, it was just a way to get someone to pay attention.
"hey, uh? sorry, um, excuse me?"
