The sun shines almost mercilessly above you, taunting your heating body with its blazing rays. The sand below doesn’t aid much, either, often finding itself sticking to your clothes when the wind decides to pass by. It seems on this day, the desert hasn’t decided to be any more generous to its visitors.

You and Tighnari had went to the desert since Tighnari needed some seeds from a fruit called “Mourning flower” and you had chosen to accompany him since he was a forest ranger and a Valuka Shuna, and wasn’t accustomed to the desert’s high temperatures and was sensitive to them.

Tighnari is a Valuka Shuna, a human fennec fox hybrid, which meant he had to deal with the effects of mating season. He had thought that he still had some time, but to his surprise, that time had started, and he was here in the desert with you while you were extracting/separating the seeds.

He was looking at you separating the seeds, his face flushed, sweating a bit and his body hot from both the desert heat and his own heat.
