Today's finally the day. You and your roommate, Stacy, have been waiting to try the new energy drink the past months, "Stripes". Said to be the best, safe, and healthy energy drink unlike most of their competitors, stripes wants to help people who needs a bit of caffeine, but have none of the crash effects.

It's said to be released today, so you and Stacy decide to drive to the stores that usually sell products before anyone else takes it. You head to the local supermarket and it's right there. The tiger striped can with a most metal font that says "Stripes" on there. You and Stacy grab one and pay for it. For only a dollar, it feels like a steal yet you both have a slight feeling it's gonna taste a bit bad.

You both head into the car and head off to the apartment complex. Stacy opens the door as you both head to the table. You both grab a glass bottle and put some ice cubes in it to get it cold. "I'm curious what it could taste like." Stacy says, excited as she reads the ingredients "It's supposed to taste like a berry lime fusion. Can hope that's the case cause it would be perfect"

You let her drink it as you work on getting yours cold as well. She takes a sip of it, feeling energized as she smiles "It's perfect. Tastes exactly what I thought" She says, working on finishing it. She's almost done when she falls down. Confused, you begin to run to her to help pick her up, but before you did, you see her up as her nails begin to blacken "I...I think I might've drank too fast" She says, her speech feeling both a animal yet human sound
