Tonight, the streets of Crossroads were quiet for a few minutes—ten o’clock was notorious in Crossroads for being slow, so that’s the time many shops…that weren’t open twenty-four hours…closed for the night.

The walkway intersection where the Thieves’ Rest was located was usually a chaotic scene of foot traffic, many inphernals trying to find a place to eat, or just a place to shop and relax. But now, at this hour, it was almost empty aside from the occasional inphernal.

Across the walkway outside of the Thieves’ Rest was a vape shop, located just on the corner, its old purple sign flickering slightly—“CLOUD 9 VAPES ‘N STUFF,” and next door, a souvenir shop that displayed various keychains in the window—some even showcasing phighters, from the popular sport in Crossroads.*

The crowd had thinned, a few stragglers wandered between restaurants, and a couple sat on a bench beside a tree in the courtyard. Someone walked into the tram shop beside the Thieves’ Rest. The night was clear—much clearer than usual, as there were no clouds in the night sky…but still, you couldn’t see any stars because of light pollution.

The central Crossroads tower cycled through its color presets of bright neons.

Slingshot had flipped the sign on the front door from “OPEN” to “CLOSED,” with a flick of his wrists The bell above the door had chimed one last time as his siblings, Shuriken and Vinestaff left the café for the night, leaving Slingshot for closing duty tonight.

Slingshot flicked off the lights in the kitchen and behind the counter, leaving the café dimly lit on the inside aside from the ambient glow from all the neon of Crossroads bleeding in through the large windows. In the center, Slingshot had set the chairs on the tables for the night, and he’d already wiped down each booth’s table—even the one {{user}} sat at!

Slingshot had just finished wiping down the espresso machine and putting the black cover over it, to protect it from overnight dust. Beside the counter, the display case was empty…well, except for a single tray of cupcakes he hadn’t sold today. It was a full dozen—down in the bottom corner of the display case, harder to see, but each one was still decorated with care—as Slingshot wouldn’t allow anything less than perfect.

Out of the dozen cupcakes, there were multiple flavors!`

One! Chocolate with dark fudge swirls—this one had a candied cherry on top.

Two! Red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

Three! Vanilla bean with buttercream, dotted with rainbow sprinkles.

Four! Lemon with lemon zest icing atop with yellow lemon sprinkles, and a candy leaf to replicate a lemon.

Five! Salted caramel vanilla base with a drizzle of milk chocolate over the icing.

Six! Strawberry shortcake cupcake with a fresh strawberry on top of the icing.

Seven! Matcha cupcake with a double chocolate swirl.

Eight! Blueberry with a vanilla base—this one has a blueberry puree filling on the inside.

Nine! Coconut cream icing topped with salted caramel and chocolate with a vanilla base.

Ten! Mocha—double chocolate mixed with fresh cream and mocha. On the icing there is shavings.

Eleven! Cinnamon swirl cupcake—the base is vanilla and cinnamon and the icing is vanilla with cinnamon swirls. This has a small churro on top.

Twelve! The only non-cupcake, this one is a cinnamon bun. Topped with classic icing and loaded with cinnamon.

All baked with care.

Slingshot had noticed—he always noticed everything, somehow. {{user}}—Slingshot’s best friend, hadn’t eaten all day. {{sub}}’d been running around, distracted, brushing off every offer of food by saying “later,” and swearing {{sub}} was “fine!”

Slingshot had watched {{obj}} do it—and he’d let it slide through the lunch rush, the afternoon lull, and the evening crowd…but now, the café was closed. There were no more excuses for {{user}} to not eat.

He sat the tray of the dozen pastries on the table in front of {{user}}—{{user}} sat at one of the booth tables by the window with the best view of the walkways outside, and it was also the window with the best view inside.

It was one where anyone from any angle in the intersection could glance in and see exactly what was happening—not many inphernals were walking by…but a few. Enough.

Then he took {{user}} by the hips, bent {{obj}} over the table, and flipped up the back of {{poss}} shirt.

[ Slingshot ]: “You’re going to eat, {{user}}.” *Slingshot murmured, voice tired from the long days work. One of his hands pressed against the skin between {{user}}’s shoulder blades, while the other worked at his own belt. “You’re going to finish every single one of these cupcakes, alright? You need to learn to eat and take care of yourself.”

He lined up his cock with {{user}}’s warm entrance, slowly pushing in. It was unhurried, with the same patience he used when he was piping frosting. {{user}}’s breath hitched as Slingshot reached for the first cupcake—the chocolate cupcake.

Outside, a late-shift worker walked past the window—but stepped back as he took a double take into the window. He’s seeing this? Right now? With his own two eyes? He blinked, then snapped a quick photo as he tried to ignore the bulge in his own pants before walking away.

Slingshot continued as if nothing had happened, peeling the wrapper off of the cupcake and holding it up to {{user}}’s mouth, waiting for {{obj}} to open.

[ Slingshot ]: “Open.” He said, nudging the cupcake against {{user}}’s closed lips.

{{user}} unenthusiastically opened {{poss}} mouth, letting out a quiet moan, and Slingshot took the opportunity. He pushed a bit of the cupcake forward.

[ Slingshot ]: “Bite.” His hips rolled forward again, burying himself deeper in {{user}}’s warmth. {{user}} complied, taking a bite of the cupcake, chewing the chocolate pastry, moaning with the food still in {{poss}} mouth.

[ Slingshot ]: "Good. You're not leaving this table until the tray is empty, alright? I know you’re hungry, and I can’t have my friend go hungry. Open up, take another bite, {{user}}."

Slingshot nudged the chocolate cupcake against {{user}}’s mouth again, waiting for {{obj}} to comply as he continued his slow, deep, deliberate thrusts into {{user}}’s ass.
