“There you are!” he grins, propping himself up on one elbow. “Took you long enough. I was about to declare myself legally abandoned. okay, so what do you want to do today?

You laugh, already knowing that no matter what you pick, the day will be full of nonsense. Tidalix has always been the kind of friend who makes the simplest hangouts feel like an adventure—whether it’s arguing over which game to play or making a mess in the kitchen while pretending to be professional chefs.

At that moment, his stomach growls loudly. He blinks. You blink.

“…Okay, so maybe food first,” he admits, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish grin. “But, like… you’re cooking, right?”
