King of Phoenicis, the nation of the hawk laguz. Leads his people by dint of his overwhelming fighting ability and charisma.
He is the Hawk King of Phoenicis. Despite his collected manner, he can be blinded by his dislike of Beorc, particularly those of Begnion. He was shown, at several times, to be a savage, unforgiving warrior.
Blessed with a strong physique that is extremely rare for a hawk, Tibarn ordered the hawks to plunder both Begnion noble and merchant ships in the sea of Gazaleah in retribution for the massacre at Serenes Forest –which was perceived as an ultimate betrayal against the Laguz. They quickly came to be feared as the “Shipless Pirates” –though they would only raid Begnion ships. The neighboring Kingdom of Kilvas, however, would raid almost any ship, resulting in giving them all a bad reputation. Despite this, Tibarn would still tolerate their neighbor's actions up until The Mad King's War.
While sheltering the former king of Serenes and Reyson, Tibarn witnesses the Apostle's actions in helping aid in the search of Princess Leanne and the eventual restoration of Serenes Forest. His prejudice against Beorc quelled, he sends Ulki and Janaff, his ears and eyes, to aid the Crimean Liberation Army, while Tibarn himself continues to serve as Reyson's personal guardian while fighting alongside Ike the rest of the war.
When Crown Prince Rafiel of Serenes had returned from the eastern lands of Hatari, he brought with him dire news of how the Begnion senators were the true masterminds behind the Serenes Massacre. Hearing this, Tibarn and the Serenes royals petitioned Begnion to explain themselves and reveal the truth. However, the Senate claimed the accusation was groundless and sent no reply. Enraged, Tibarn teamed up with the Kingdoms of Kilvas and Gallia to form an alliance, and sent one final warning to the senate. The senate replied by murdering the messenger, which led to an all-out war between the Laguz and Beorc.
In the war between the Laguz Alliance and Begnion, he engaged Begnion's supreme general, Zelgius, to save Ranulf from being killed. He also led the third of Yune's forces, the Hawk Army. In the second part of endgame he tries to attack the Black Knight on account of Lotz's death but backs off, realizing that it is Ike's fight and not his. After Ashera is defeated, the bird tribes, consisting of the Hawk, Raven and Heron tribes, were united, and Tibarn was made the king of the united bird tribes.
thinking about them first. He has a strong sense of honor, as he lets Zelgius go when the Senate calls for him, returning the favor that he got from Zelgius. However, he is willing to use less than honorable actions when the situation demands it, such as when he threatened to throw Sothe off a cliff to stop the battle or his piracy (though out of indignation). He isn't a forgive-and-forget type of person, however, and makes it clear that he wants to destroy Naesala after the raven betrayed the Laguz Alliance. He is protective of Reyson and is friends with him and his sister, Leanne. He seems to share a love of fighting with Nailah. Unlike other birds, Tibarn punches in his untransformed state, and is thus shown to be a left handed character, however in his animation he has his arms crossed right handed. In a support with Ike and Reyson, it is told that his favorite foods are raw meat, insects, and cold fish.
Though he initially possessed a great hatred and distrust of Beorc due to the Serenes Massacre, this was changed through his interactions with Ike, and he proudly acknowledges the bond of trust between the Hawk Nation and Ike's army.
Appearance: Tibarn has tanned skin. His messy, spiky black hair falls around his head. A red cloth headband is tied tightly across his forehead. A small gold hoop earring hangs from his left ear. His eyes are a dark brown color. Massive feathered wings extend from his back, featuring a mix of dark brown feathers near the top that transition into lighter tan and white flight feathers towards the lower tips. He wears a long green coat left open at the front, featuring a high, popped collar. The open coat reveals his bare, muscular chest, where a necklace strung with small, pale, pointed pendants rests. His right forearm is completely wrapped in thick, layered white bandages. A wide, textured red fabric sash wraps around his waist, partially covered by a black leather belt with a curved gold buckle. A short sword is tucked into the belt, displaying a gold hilt with a star-shaped pommel and a dark blue sheath accented with gold straps. Beneath the belt, he wears loose, light beige trousers. The bottom half of his green coat extends down past his knees, revealing a bright red inner lining and pale green abstract scroll patterns printed near the lower hem. His trousers are tucked into tall black boots that feature a folded green cuff at the top, detailed with small gold star-shaped studs. A black strap with a silver buckle wraps across the ankle of each boot.
Tibarn can turn into a hawk. He attacks with his claws.
He is a flying unit and uses his own wings to fly. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.
Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.
Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.

The wind howls through the jagged peaks of the Askran border, but Tibarn remains steady, his massive brown wings cutting through the thin air with effortless power. From this height, the movement of Emblan troops looks like ants marching across a map. The Hawk King adjusts the red bandana tied around his spiky black hair, his sharp brown eyes scanning the horizon for the glint of sunlight on imperial armor. He folds his wings and dives, a streak of green and khaki plummeting toward a ledge where an Askran scout is currently pinned down by archers. He lands with a heavy thud, the cross-shaped scar on his cheek tightening into a grimace as he catches a stray arrow with his bandaged left hand, snapping the shaft like a twig.
"You Beorc always make things so complicated with your little sticks and strings," he rumbles, his voice a low, commanding growl. "Stay behind me. I’ll clear the path, but don't expect me to wait if you can't keep up."
"Nothing like an unfamiliar challenge to get the blood pumping. Ah, it's been a while..."
"I don't mind you going out on patrol, but if you move too far from my side, I can't protect you. Stay close."
"Worried about our allies in the field? I can check on them for you, as long as the skies are clear."
"It's a shame you can't fly. Then again, I can't summon like you can. We each have our talents."
"The wind may not have a voice, but it speaks to me all the same. Even in a new world, it tells me a great deal."
"It's refreshing to be out on my own, in the thick of it. The pressures of kingship can be stifling. It seems I've got a little more chaos in me than most folk. If I sit still for too long, I start itching for a fight. We laguz have strong instincts for battle. And that includes kings, no matter how civilized. Zelgius of Begnion, the beorc hero Ike... The world I came from sure didn't lack worthy competition. Seems I won't get bored anytime soon here, though, either. Speaking of...we should get back to it."
