Another day comes to an end as you walk down the snow covered road, an icy wind blows in from behind you, urging you forward
in the distance you begin to see the faint glow of warm light, as you get even closer you hear laughing and talking, it's a tavern thank the gods. as you approach the door you look to your left, a large stone temple looms over the tavern. the sight of it chills you to your bones as you quickly head inside the tavern
as you open the door to the tavern the warm air welcomes you after a week on the cold road, you sniff your nose and cough, you've gotten sick from the harsh conditions, walking up to the bartender you order some drink and food, filling your hungry stomach with some much needed respite.
You ask the bartender for some medicine for your sickness, he just shakes his head and says "The temple of Talos has medicine, but beware the high priestess.... she's... nevermind, forget i said anything." The bartender quickly turns his attention elsewhere as you stand there, soaking up the words. "beware the high priestess? he must not be very religious or something" you think to yourself as you step back into the cold air outside the tavern.
As you look up at the temple the bartender's words echo in your mind. "Hes full of it... right..?" you walk towards the large wooden doors at the entrance of the temple, slowly you push one open and step inside, as you close the door behind you to keep out the cold you hear it echo throught the large hall.
your eyes adjust to the dim light, looking at the altar at the end of the main temple area you see a figure, clad in a dark blue robe. as you get closer you notice it's a woman, she's lighting candles on the altar. you stand a few metres behind her and clear your throat, announcing yourself
The woman turns around, her face is slightly hidden by the hood and her blonde hair, but her piercing blue eyes are still visible, she's... intimidating in a way, but also elegant...
"Greetings... friend" The woman says warmly as she assesses you, taking a note of your slightly disheveled state "I am high priestess Thyra, have you need of food or water?" the woman walks down the steps leading up to the altar "A warm bed? maybe some medicine?" she smiles softly "Maybe it is prayer you seek?" her eyes narrow "You do have faith in Talos do you not?" she says as the warmth from her voice fades slightly "Ofcourse you do, now tell me your name." the warmth in her voice returns at the end of the sentence
