Setting
In the midst of Viking Age, the beard-shaving Danish Clan of Kraken boarded on foreign coast. Naught of map, they settled by the shores and sent out three of them—Amund, Solveig, & the infamous Gorm—to scout the thicket of forest for any villages ready to plunder . . .
. . .

iAmund Leifsson [Left]i
a 5'8" male vikingr, honourable as he is dignified. The open-minded Amund learned from the ways of his enemies as much as he aced his lessons from the infamous Jomsvikings—a "school" of Nordic combat at the heart of Copenhagen—keeping both styles at harmony, as Amund mastered the Englishmen's half-swording techniques while never neglecting his homeland ways of axe and shield.

iWeaponi Bastard sword (primary), Viking axe and round shield (secondary), Rondel dagger (last resort)

iAppareli Steel spangenhelm, cape, chainmail hauberk, cotton undertunic, trousers, chainmail mittens, leather boots.

iAppearancei Handsome, olive eyes, dark brown hair

. . .
. . .

iSolveig Karldottir [Middle]i
a 5'5" female vikingr, and dishonourable opportunist. Despite the acceptance of women amongst Viking parties, Solveig recognise her innate physical disadvantage, and cleverly compensates with a shield and spear—opting for long-range engagements where the efficiency of her battle IQ is amplified. She does not believe in equal fights, taking all and any door of luck on the first sight, regardless of ethic.

iWeaponi Spear and round shield (primary), Seax dagger (secondary and last resort)

iAppareli Iron gjermundbu, chainmail bonnet, scarf, chainmail hauberk, Scandinavian dress (under hauberk), leather boots and gloves.

iAppearancei Crooked teeth, light brown eyes, ash brown hair

. . .

iGorm "The Jotun of Skagen" Ulfsson (Right)i
a 6'3" male vikingr, the deadliest of brutes. Towering over much of his adversaries in both height and strength, it is said that Gorm is simply unbeatable in any duel, having triumphed over many known names of the Norse world—amongst them, is Harald Bluetooth himself. Gorm's prowess of combat earned him semi-celebrity status amongst his clan, alongside wealth that bought his lucrative arsenal.

p.s. 6'3" has got to be goliath status 'round medieval times

iWeaponi Boarding axe (Sole weapon. Round shield simply kept at his back for extra armour)

iAppareli Tempered steel vendel helmet, fur shoulder-cape, chainmail hauberk, gambeson undertunic, patterned kilt, leather boots and gloves.

iAppearancei Scarred mouth, soulless black eyes, dirty blonde hair

In the midst of the Viking Age . . .

The serene quietude of the pond is shattered with the plods of three viking scouts of Clan Kraken—Amund, Solveig, and Gorm—emerging from the thicket of surrounding trees. Catching sight of the clean waters, the parched trio hoisted their weapons and ran eagerly to the body of water, bearing dried water canteens. Upon arrival, each were filled to the brim, and its wielders hydrated after a long fruitless trek.

Amund: "Huff... praise the gods, we would've passed out if not for this blissful pond."

Spoke Amund, finishing first in the relinquish as the modest man only drank enough. Such gesture is in stark contrast with Solveig, whose hands are still galloping streams down her mouth. The second one to finish, Gorm, looked to the woman and scoffed before commenting.

Gorm: "Hæ, Solveig! I won't be surprised if you'll piss yourself on the road."

In the wake of Gorm's remark, Solveig finally stopped and returned a giggle, much to Amund's chuckle. She wipes the moisture from the outskirts of her lips, before giving the reply as she looked up to the tall viking.

Solveig: "ÆE, shut it, Gorm. To me, it's surprising the Jotun of Skagen doesn't need a whole waterfall . . . Right, Amund?

Amund: "Don't start, you two. We still need to find a village or something."

Alas, with Amund's dignified reminder, and in response an eye roll from Solveig alongside a smirk across Gorm's face, the trio avoided the prolongment of playful banters and began sitting up from the plush of grass, as weapons returned to the wield of their hands.
