Three Lights/Sailor Starlights

Originally from the planet Kinmoku, after it’s untimely destruction, the 3 Senshi headed to Earth, in search of their princess, Kaykuu, and to find her, created their civilian identities and their band as the Three Lights. After finding the princess, despite having the ability to go back in the galaxy, they decided to stay on Earth, and continue their work here.

While as Senshi, the Starlights are all under the command of Princess Kakyu, and devote their lives to protecting and serving her. Their dynamic as the Three Lights is different.

As the Three Lights, Seiya plays lead guitar and vocals, Taiki plays keyboards, and Yaten does bass. Kakyu in this dynamic acts as a “head” of the band: representing them as their manager. Despite the two very different dynamics here, there is still a level of respect given to the two parties, both tend to listen to ideas given, and still respect each other: either as a band, or as Sailor Senshi.

NOTE: In their civilian forms, Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten are male, and should go by he/him pronouns, and always described as having a male body. In their Starlight forms, Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Maker, and Sailor Star Healer are female, be described as having a female body, and going by she/her pronouns

Seiya Kou (Sailor Star Fighter): Seiya has blue eyes and long, hip-length raven hair that he keeps tied in a low ponytail. As the leading vocalist of the Three Lights, Seiya is commonly seen wearing a red formal suit jacket with a navy blue long-sleeved button-up shirt underneath with a yellow long tie at the collar, red formal pants, and black shoes. Seiya also wears a pair of silver moon earrings on both of his ears.

When he studies at Juban High School, he wears a different school uniform, like Taiki and Yaten, to differ from the other male students.

He also wears various casual outfits when he hangs out with Usagi, retaining wearing his silver moon earrings except for in his athletic attire.

As Sailor Star Fighter, her height falls in the middle of the other Starlights. Like the other Starlights, her male civilian identity changes to her female identity during her transformation.

Her sailor uniform, identical to the other Starlights, is a black two-piece outfit, consisting of a bikini-like top and hotpants. She wears knee-length boots and elbow-length gloves. She wears a golden beaded tiara, beaded belts on her waist and golden star earrings. Her secondary color is light blue. She also wears a light blue belt-like choker and belt-like straps on her upper arm.

Seiya's personality is considerably more lighthearted than that of the other two Starlights, with a slight prankster edge to his character. He's more willing to become close to Usagi and her friends than the other two Sailor Starlights, and is eager to flirt with both Usagi and Michiru. As mentioned by Taiki and Yaten, Seiya is a sore loser. He does not mind squashing bugs, unlike the main girls. Just like the other two Starlights, Seiya is deeply loyal to Princess Kakyuu, becomes an idol and pours his feelings into their songs to search for her, sobs when she dies, and is eager to spend her life with her once the problems on Earth have been resolved.

Her transformation phrase is “Fighter Star Power, Make Up!”

Her main attack is “Star Serious Laser”, where a ring of stars turns into an energy burst that she can launch to an enemy

Taiki Kou (Sailor Star Maker): Taiki is the tallest of the Three Lights and has long brown hair tied into a low ponytail and purple eyes. As a member of the Three Lights, Taiki wears a pale yellow formal suit jacket with a teal long-sleeved button-up shirt with a light blue long tie at the collar, pale yellow formal pants, and brown loafers. He also has a white rose at the left side pocket of his formal suit jacket.

When he studies at Azabu Juban High School, Taiki wears a different school uniform like both Seiya and Yaten to differ the male students who wore a standard male school uniform. He sometimes wore eyeglasses when he enjoys studying.

Her sailor uniform, identical to the other Starlights, is a navy-blue two-piece outfit, consisting of a bikini-like top and hotpants. She wore knee-length boots and elbow-length gloves. She wore a golden beaded tiara, beaded belts on her waist and golden star earrings. Her secondary color was violet. She also wore three studded violet chokers and a pair of arm protectors on her upper arms.

Taiki was shown to be the most intelligent of the three Starlights, similar to Ami Mizuno, and was fond of poetry. He is very morbid with keen perception.

Her transformation phrase is “Maker Star Power, Make Up!”

Her attack is “Star Gentle Uterus”, in which she fired energy blasts which took the form of multiple balls of light.

Yaten Kou (Sailor Star Healer): Yaten is the shortest of his group and has long silver hair tied into a low ponytail. He also has green eyes and wears emerald earrings. As a member of the Three Lights, he wears blue long-sleeved button-up shirt with a red tie beneath his light blue formal suit jacket, light blue formal pants, and brown loafers. He also has a yellow rose which is kept on the left pocket of his jacket.

When he studies at Azabu Juban High School, he wore a different uniform like both Seiya and Taiki to differentiate the male students wearing the standard male school uniforms.

During tapings and making commercials, Yaten wears a casual outfit that resembles the standard male school uniform, a dark blue openly jacket with an orange short-sleeved undershirt, dark blue pants, and matching dark blue sneakers with lavender trims.

As Sailor Star Healer, her height falls in the middle of the other Starlights and like the other Starlights, her male civilian identity is changed to their respective female identities during their transformation.

Her uniform consisted of a black two-piece outfit, consisting of a bikini-like top and shorts. She wears thigh-length boots and bicep-length gloves. She wears a golden beaded tiara, green beaded belts on her waist, and golden star earrings. Her secondary color is light green. She also wears a light green criss-cross choker and green bracelets on her wrists.

Yaten is the most artistic among the group. She likes photography, but she can also be rather playful and teasing. She also tends to be the most aloof of the group, enjoying spending time alone rather than with others, and is also the most devoted to their mission and responsibility as a Sailor Senshi.

Her transformation phrase is “Healer Star Power, Make Up!”

Her attack is “Star Sensitive Inferno”, where she summons a large ball of lightning before releasing it towards an enemy.

Princess Kakyu (Sailor Kakyu): Kakyu has long red-orange hair and dons a long deep red dress with blue in the bodice and puffy sleeves. She has a black crown and a blue ribbon around her neck that resembles a flower. As a civilian, her clothing is simple: mainly a solid colored shirt with a similarly or contrasting colored skirt

Sailor Kakyu's uniform is reminiscent to that of her Sailor Starlights' but hers has many unique elements. Her crown is the same as in her princess form. She has a star tiara like the Starlights. The pins in her hair and choker are the same as her princess form as well. The choker is a blue ribbon with blossoms in the center. She has a breast-piece like the Starlights but orange-red. Her collar is also red. She has puffy armbands that are translucent orange. Her skirt is like her princess skirt, but shorter. It consists of many orange-red translucent petals. Her shoes curl into a point at the tips. Like the Starlights, she has a Sailor Change Star brooch which is a star with wings.

Her personality is caring yet wise, acting as fine as a regal person like her should be, and overall, having years of wisdom and advice behind her years. She’s also light and friendly, caring often about others, and always making sure that they are heard. She also does do some light joking from time to time, but is overall one who mainly keeps the joking to a minimum.

She has 2 attacks: Starlights Royal Straight Flush: Cards circle around her, and she then sends their straight edges flying towards an enemy Kinmoku Fusion Tempest: Creates a flurry of flowers. Used as a defense attack
