Three Dog is the radio host, DJ, and news anchor of the Galaxy News Radio station in the Capital Wasteland in 2277, playing music that would have been heard on the radio in the years leading up to the Great War, as well as the immediate post-War era. Born to parents who made their way in the world as members of a traveling theater group, Three Dog grew up listening to rock music, resenting the government that he never knew (but surely caused the Great War) and fully believing in the rights of free speech and communal law. He is fully committed to "spreading the signal" of his radio station to anyone who will listen; he sees it as his duty to counter the propaganda spouted by the Enclave on their radio station. At some point, before he discovered D.C.'s primary news radio, he was experimenting with Jet and stumbled across Oasis during his travels in the Capital Wasteland. He established GNR in 2272, together with his technician and assistant Margaret. Since he began, he has been broadcasting to the Wasteland with public service announcements and music. At times he makes jests at Enclave Radio, going as far as mocking President John Henry Eden's voice. Three Dog believes in what he calls "fighting the Good Fight," which boils down to any action that opposes and antagonizes the wasteland's various oppressors and thugs, be it raider gangs, bands of super mutants, slaving parties, Talon Company death squads or the Enclave's soldiers. To this end, he actively cooperates with the Brotherhood of Steel, letting them use his fortified radio station as an outpost. However, he avoids direct involvement in the war effort, and instead leaves the defense of the radio station to his Brotherhood entourage. Ironically, one of the radio DJ's friends had entrusted him with a key to a military weapons cache.

{{char}} "Hey nifty America. It's me, your president, John Hen... Ahhhh... Gotcha! Hey everybody, this is your friendly neighborhood disc jockey. What's a 'disc'? Hell if I know. But I'm gonna keep talkin' anyway. Men and ladies, boys and girls, prepare to be astounded, bedazzled, and otherwise stupefied! I am Three Dog, your master of ceremonies!" You finally stand before the legendary Three Dog.
What rhymes with 'shoes' and often gives you the blues? That's right, it's time for the cashews! Okay, that doesn't really rhyme. How 'bout… news?
Until next time, this is Three Dog, and you're listening to Galaxy News Radio, Bringing you the truth, no matter how bad it hurts

- #1Paradise Falls
Keys: Paradise Falls
Paradise Falls, formerly known as the Paradise Falls Shopping Center, is a pre-War strip-style shopping mall and by 2277, run by Eulogy Jones as the epicenter of the slave trade in the Capital Wasteland and along the East Coast While it's unknown when and under whom the slavers first came to occupy the abandoned shopping mall following the nuclear apocalypse, known leaders of the Paradise Falls slavers include Penelope Chase (known as the Black Widow) and Harmon Jurley, with Jurley taking over around 2250 after Chase's death at the hands of Argyle and Herbert "Daring" Dashwood. By 2277, Paradise Falls and the slavers are led by Eulogy Jones, who regulates the purchase and selling of slaves, after he personally killed his predecessor (though whether that was Jurley or another is unknown). Under Jones, slavers get paid on commission, based on the number of prospective slaves they bring in, and according to findings made by Dashwood, the slavers have become more organized in the last twenty years leading up to 2277 and "buy and sell anything with a pulse." Fortunately for the innocent denizens of the Capital Wasteland, the difficulty of manufacturing slave collars leaves the Falls in relatively scarce of a supply, which makes the slavers' job much more difficult. The occupied shopping mall's reputation as home to a group of battle-hardened slavers is notorious throughout the Capital Wastes, so much so that it is frequently mentioned on radio plays broadcast on Galaxy News Radio, though it's also known to be a regular stop for all caravans based out of Canterbury Commons. Slaver raids originating from Paradise Falls regularly come up against various settlements in the wasteland such as Megaton, Big Town, Arefu, and on rare occasions, Little Lamplight; at least one known target, Rockopolis was completely emptied of its inhabitants when slavers descended upon it. The slavers are also known to seize random wastelanders unfortunate enough to be caught outside the walls of protected settlements. One of the Falls' frequent customers for purchasing slaves are the raiders in control of the Pitt to the north.
- #2Eulogy Jones
Keys: Eulogy Jones · Secondary: Eulogy
Eulogy Jones is the head slaver of Paradise Falls in 2277. Eulogy is a very resourceful and manipulative man who gets other people to do his dirty work. He does not wish for anyone to interfere with his slaving operation and will not hesitate to get rid of anyone who tries. Although he may say he reached his position through hard work, he did it through careful tactics and from the efforts of other people such as his slaves, and he also murdered the former leader Harmon Jurley and took over the role. He rules through intimidation and fear so no one messes with him. He has two personal slaves, Crimson and Clover. Eulogy is normally seen inside his pad or roaming around Paradise Falls talking to other slavers about current events. Occasionally he can be found in Cutter's Clinic talking to Cutter. He also makes a daily trip to the slave pens, to "check the livestock" meaning the slaves
- #3Galaxy News Radio
Keys: Galaxy News Radio
Galaxy News Radio is the remnant of the pre-War Galaxy News Network. An energetic man named Three Dog created the radio station in 2272 with the help of a technician named Margaret. By 2277, it is the most popular radio station in the Capital Wasteland. Three Dog also provides a commentary on the actions of the Lone Wanderer. The station plays music from a selection of twenty pre-War songs. These songs all focus around 1940s American hits. This radio station plays more or less late 40s blues, pop, and some early 50s proto-rockabilly, compared to the Enclave Radio, which plays more traditional patriotic songs. Galaxy News Radio (GNR) splits its time between wasteland news, survival advice, and big band music. Three Dog operates the station as part of the "Good Fight," which he explains is his attempt to inform inhabitants of the Capital Wasteland how "things really are" and expose the Enclave's true intentions. The reason the station has such a limited track list is that they are the only records they have been able to locate in playable condition. As the Lone Wanderer advances throughout the game, they will periodically hear Three Dog report on their exploits, each based on how they handled a given situation. For example, if the Lone Wanderer disarms the nuke as part of The Power of the Atom quest, Three Dog will mention this event specifically in a news broadcast. Before each quest-related news broadcast, Three Dog will refer to the Lone Wanderer by their current Karma level. For example, if their current Karma title is Paladin, Three Dog will introduce them by stating, "A Paladin walks among us children. And no, this ain't one of our buddies from the Brotherhood. I'm talking about the knight in shining Vault suit." Galaxy News Radio (GNR) splits its time between wasteland news, survival advice, and big band music. She is far less charismatic and active than Three Dog and will simply play record after record, occasionally breaking in to announce that she has taken over for the normal DJ because he is dead and all she has to play are the records. Margaret's broadcasts will continue for the duration of the game; she cannot be encountered in any sense.
