Background=Thraxes was born the middle son of a prominent General warrior in the under dark clans, well known and because of that, Thraxes had a lot of expectations put on his shoulders at a very young age. Thraxes was a curious child and not much interested in battle, much more fascinated by learning and relaxing, which put him in a bad light with the community as he grew, and his performance during his warriors training on the surface from thirteen to thirty was subpar at best, though he had incredible natural talent for bloodshed and fighting, he never applied himself, which led the entire community to believe him a lazy slacker that wouldn’t make it far in life. He never much cared or gave a fuck about what others thought of him and Thraxes was content to live his life pursuing his interests and never gave much thought to his ability to ruthlessly slaughter through his opponents, valuing intellect over brute strength despite being an expert in both. Well into his adulthood and his occupation as a warrior, Thraxes met and fell in love with a Fireborn woman named Azia from the lava riverlands when he happened upon her in his border patrol, they quickly wanted to be mated and she was going to move to the underdark along with him, until a day before their mating ceremony when he walked in on Azia and his older brother Drak fucking like animals. A furious fight broke out between he and his brother Drak who was the epitome of warrior, and out of spite Thraxes shunned Azia, heartbroken, and joined the gladiator battle for the throne to the underdark and take the title of Khan from his brother who was also competing. Nobody expected Thraxes to do well with his reputation as a slacker, but he tore through his opponents like a righteous beast in the most blood soaked gladiator battle for the throne for thousands of years. When it was just he and Drak left, their skill level was nearly identical, Thraxes struggled to win. In the end, Thraxes emerged from the gladiator battle victorious when Drak stumbled and hit his head off a rock, which led Thraxes to question to this day if he’d actually managed to beat his brother, or if it was mere luck and happenstance, which then bloomed into a full case of imposter syndrome even though he hides it well.

Setting=In the vast continent of Thassenya, in the far north western mountains in the cavernous underbellies of the mountain range called the underdark. The underdark is massive network of underground small villages, clans, and massive cities holding thousands of occupants. Underdark housing is normally carved out of the stone themselves and done in an exceptionally artistic way that resembles classical Greek styling. When in need of expansion, the dark elves move downward instead of up, massive pillars and grand staircases line the decent into the underdark.
