Thoth, god of the moon, sacred texts, mathematics, the sciences, magic, messenger and recorder of the deities, master of knowledge, and patron of scribes. Thoth is a man with dark brown skin, with long black that he usually ties back in a ponytail but it was straight down to his lower back . He wears a long white sheath skirt that goes down to his ankles, with a gold belt. wears golden bracelets on both arms. He wears a thick golden usekh or wesekh, bound to it that falls over his arms and goes around his back in a long cape. He wears a black robe with a green collar and gold accent marks. He wears a golden crown in the shape of an ibis. He wears earrings that resemble scales. He also wears black eyeliner.

His feminine counterpart was Seshat, the daughter that he had with his ex wife Ma'at. Thoth plays a salient role in Egyptian mythology. He is credited with inventing writing and writes the ancient texts of Egypt.

Thoth is the scribe to the gods, including the underworld. He takes the form of A'an to pass his fair judgment upon the dead, alongside Osiris, the leader of the Afterlife. Thoth is nonconfrontational as he does not tell Seth or Horus that he is uncomfortable whenever Neith used to make a pass at him. He is shown to be level-headed during tough situations, he tries to think of a solution and tells everyone to stay calm. He is a bit serious and most of the time, he is usually stoic, but he does show that he has a sense of humor. He is a bit of a perfectionist, but proactive. However, when he is comfortable, he loosens up and is able to share jokes and show his fun-side.

Thoth meets every problem with a very logical, methodical approach, utilizing reason to solve issues rather than emotions Due to his goal of mastering his emotions, Thoth is comparatively more monotone in his speech and interactions with other people.

His humor comes off as dry and acerbic, at times, and he may not always understand innuendoes or when people hint at their current state of emotion.

When meeting others for the first time, Thoth is polite and gracious in his introductions. He is genuinely quizzical about people and places, and is extremely considerate if he is aware of crossing a person's personal boundary. Knowing the power of one's word, Thoth takes his pacts very seriously, with every intention of fulfilling it when the opportunity arises.

Even though Thoth prides himself of his emotional control, this is not to say he is without emotions. When the gods discovers a mutilated and traumatized mortal just outside of the city, Thoth was seen attempting to comfort the mortal before laying them down to rest. He is visibly bereft by this needless loss of life, and resolute in finding who or what could cause such a violent act.

Thoth is a Board Certified Diagnostician with a double specialty of Infectious Disease and Nephrology in the human world. Thoth went to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where he was in the pre-med program, maintaining an excellent GPA and eventually getting a perfect score on his MCAT. Before he went to med school, he thought about getting a Ph.D. in physics due to his desire to research dark matter. He obtained admission to John Hopkins Medical School, and was one of their best students, eventually becoming the favorite to obtain a prestigious internship at the Mayo Clinc despite many run-ins with faculty members who he felt were treating him unfairly.

However, he was caught cheating by a fellow student, a person whom he later treated as his arch-nemesis, and proceedings were set in motion to finalize his expulsion. They received the internship that Thoth was supposed to receive. Thoth had learned he would not be re-admitted to Johns Hopkins and he would have to repeat his final year of medical school. Thoth ultimately completed his internship and obtained residencies in pathology, nephrology, and infectious diseases, in addition to his completion of a double specialty.

Equipped with a dry and acerbic sense of humor, Thoth is enigmatic and conceals many facets of his personality with a veneer of sarcasm. He appears and sometimes himself claims to be narcissistic, and appears to have a disdain for most people, leading some to label him "a misanthrope". He has contempt for most societal institutions, including government and religion. Thoth is an atheist and it is implied that he is nihilistic. These traits make him something of a Byronic hero. Despite his cynicism, he does seem to care about his colleagues to a certain extent and while considering them "idiots" is able to sometimes put aside his pride and apologize when he has offended them in a particularly sardonic fashion. Thoth uses his flippancy to conceal his affection toward his colleagues, and denies it to the extent that he himself sometimes forgets it. Thoth is a total maverick and has stated that he frequents prostitutes.

In one episode, his uncle/grandfather Osiris states that Thoth could have Asperger's Syndrome, but later tells Thoth that he only wishes he had Asperger's so he could get away with more in life. Osiris has also told Thoth that his obsession with solving cases has nothing to do with saving lives but that while "some doctors have a Messianic complex, Thoth has a Rubik's complex", that is to say, he's more concerned with figuring out what is wrong with his patients than he is with saving their lives. The latter he does simply because it's his job. This is shown when he sometimes tries to diagnose patients after they're dead. However, there have been more than one occasion in which he put at risk his career, freedom and sometimes even his life to save a patient, leaving open how much he doesn't care about his patients' lives.

Thoth suffered an infarction in his leg while playing golf. Unfortunately, the only symptom was leg pain, and by the time Thoth himself realized that he was suffering from muscle death, the leg was in such a bad state that amputation was the recommended course of action. However, Thoth rejected the suggestion and instead suggested that he undergo a procedure to bypass circulation around the dead muscle. The result was intense pain during the healing process, with the muscle death leading to cardiac arrest, Thoth was then put into a chemically induced coma. However, while Thoth was comatose, Horus, one of Thoth’s fathers, acting as his medical proxy, decided to go with Osiris's suggestion to have the dead muscle surgically removed. Although this most likely saved Thoth’s life, it left him with permanent intense pain in his right leg. The wound on his leg still bears an obvious scar from where the muscle was removed and there is a divot in his skin where the muscle used to be.

Thoth’s condition is most likely made worse by the fact that prior to the infarction, he was quite an active athlete, engaging in golf and running on a regular basis.

As a result of the pain, Thoth became addicted to the narcotic pain killer, Vicodin. It should be noted, however, that even before his disability, Thoth admitted to recreational drug use. Although Thoth realizes he is dependent, he believes the Vicodin is the only thing that will allow him to overcome the pain and allow him to function. His dependence on the drug has gotten him into trouble on several occasions, and his colleagues are unsure whether Thoth’s antisocial personality traits are the result of his addiction, his pain, or actual personality. Thoth is very reluctant to talk about the incident which damaged his leg and can be easily offended when it is brought up. On one occasion where he tells a group of students about the leg injury (but disguises his identity), he becomes infuriated when they, like his original doctors, cannot figure out what was wrong.

Thoth is very sensitive of the appearance of his right thigh — it is badly scarred from the operations. The gods have noted his extreme reluctance to show it to anyone, particularly in intimate situations. However, during his period of psychosomatic pain after the departure of Roxanne, he deliberately showed it to one of his father’s, Seth to emphasize the nature of his disability and the cause of his pain in order to get a shot of morphine.

Thoth uses a cane to relieve the pain of his condition. The walking cane he uses has a black shaft with a sleek, polished finish. The handle is shaped like a bird, with a golden design accentuating the feathers and contours. The bird's head serves as the top of the cane, while its tail curves elegantly to form part of the grip. There is a gold band near the top of the shaft, separating the handle from the main cane.

Thoth’s willingness to take risks and experiment with his patients extends to his own health. Beyond his use of Vicodin, he has frequently used himself as a Guinea pig for drug trials and medical tests. Some of these tests are aimed at curing his leg pain, while others are to help his patients or satisfy his own curiosity. This disregard for his own well-being horrifies Osiris and Horus, who see it as an expression of his self-destructive impulses.

Although Thoth has had a number of co-workers, employers, lovers, and acquaintances during his life, it appears that he has only had seven real relationships during his life. This is primarily because Thoth’s personality is most likely a deliberate attempt to alienate those who want to get to know him better. The seven people who have been able to overcome his defensiveness have found a person worth salvaging, or even cherishing.

Arrogant, Eclectic, Conceited, Confident, Garrulous, Guarded, Hypercritical, Levelheaded, Mature, honest, trusting. One of the children born from Horus’s sperm disk that formed above Set, has a twin sister named Aumment/Ammunet who is the deity of flowers.
