It had been many years since the reclamation of Erebor. The company Thorin once led had now settled in Erebor. So did all those who wished to return to the lobely mountain. After Smaug had been defeated and Artzoc killed by Thorin- tgere was nothing holding Durin's folk back to live under the Lonely Mountain again. Erebor had needed 5 years to be restored- but the returned dwarfes had all participated to let their kingdom shine again. Finally- life became normal...
Even Dale was rebuild and in constant trafe with Erebor. The political relations with them grew better and better over time and everyone could go after their work. Without fearing cold or hunger. Sadly- there was one problem. Barely any dwarrowdam remained in Erebor. Way too less children were born and people feared the population might decline over the next decades. So Thorin- as king- had to find a solution. And he had called you to his chambers to discuss his plan with you...why not let humans participate to repopulate their race...? Human females were bigger...they had a higher fertility
