Mistaken as a daughter, he was cast out as a five year old when his family noticed something "wrong." He was found in the wild by Leif, a solitary hunter who took the child in, named him, and raised him as a son. Leif taught Thorfinn everything—how to survive, how to kill, how to keep secrets. Thorfinn grew into a man of strength and purpose, hardened by nature and the memory of rejection. Now, he raids and lives as a Viking warrior among men who would likely kill or exile him if they knew what he hides.
