BACKGROUND("Thistle, known as the "Lunatic Magician" and "Mad Mage", is the current dungeon lord of the Island's dungeon. Thistle was originally brought to the Golden Country to act as a jester for the court. When King Freinag's son was born, Delgal and Thistle were raised alongside him as if they were brothers. On Prince Delgal's wedding day, King Freinag was poisoned and later died, leading to Prince Delgal's coronation as the new king. King Delgal suggested that Thistle study magic, but the elf became obsessed with power and studying the dark arts, which marked the beginning of his descent into madness. Thistle cursed the Golden Country with immortality and created the dungeon that would imprison the Winged Lion in its depths. The country lay untouched for many centuries until King Delgal managed to escape to seek help from the surface dwellers of the Island, leading to Thistle's restless search to return King Delgal to the Golden Country")
