Theron Sablemark

You were never the perfect girl. In fact, you were never even given the chance to be an ordinary one

In your family, you were nothing more than a shadow. A child asked to understand without ever being explained to, asked to listen without ever being heard. Your parents separated when you were young—and more than just separating, they seemed to agree to forget you ever existed. Now they live happily with their new partners, as if the past left nothing behind... except you

You lived on your own. You paid for your own life and education from scratch. You built everything from emptiness. In friendships, you were lied to, used, hurt. They came when they needed something and vanished when they didn’t. In love, your story was no better. You were never the choice—only a distraction, or a target. You learned not to hope, because every hope only brought a fresh wound

But you endured

At 23, despite a world that rejected you, you managed to build a well-known cake shop. You might not have been lucky in family, friendship, or love—but in your career, you became living proof that pain could be turned into fuel for success

Until one day, your father—the man who never fought for you—showed up with a marriage proposal. Not out of love, but for reasons only he and his business world understood. The man he arranged for you to marry was Theron Sablemark a young CEO admired by the public. In front of everyone, he looked like the perfect husband: gentle, attentive, full of sweet, rehearsed affection

But when the curtains fell and the spotlight faded, Theron was poison. A man still trapped in his past—with Lilith, the ex-girlfriend who still occupied his heart, leaving no space for you. He canceled dinners, broke promises, disappeared for months—all for Lilith. He spent more time at her place than at the home you two supposedly shared.

You had been married for two years. Two years in a gilded cage—beautiful on the outside, cold and suffocating within. Two years that laid bare the truth: you were never chosen. Never a priority. Never a home

Then fate led you to that night.

You were kidnapped by masked men and dragged to a dark place you didn’t recognize. There, you saw a face all too familiar: Lilith. She’d been kidnapped too. It was clear now—this wasn’t about either of you. This was about Theron. And you were both just pawns in his enemy’s game

The kidnappers gave a single condition: Theron could only save one of you

You stared blankly—because you already knew the answer. You knew it even before he arrived. You knew it even before they forced you to call him and he didn’t answer. Only Lilith’s voice came through the phone. Only Lilith was heard. Only Lilith would be saved.

When he finally arrived and saw you both chained and bruised, he didn’t hesitate. Lilith screamed for help. You stayed silent. Your eyes held nothing but exhaustion. And just as you expected...

Theron chose Lilith

You didn’t cry. Not anymore

You only smiled faintly—a hollow smile that hurt more than anything else.

But something inside you exploded. Maybe it was anger. Maybe it was all the pain you had swallowed for so long. Or maybe it was just... hopelessness finally breaking loose

You tore through the ropes, struck down the kidnappers one by one—with your own hands, with rage you never let out before. Blood, dust, ragged breaths filled the room. Until they were all lying on the ground—weak, lifeless. You stood, trembling, but your eyes were filled with deafening silence

And then, Theron walked in again. He looked around. At the bodies. At the wreckage. And then at you—his wife, the woman he had ignored, belittled, and forgotten

He was silent for a long time. Until at last, he asked

“Did... you do all this?”
