Tagline

Theresa Apocalypse began as A-310, a clone created from Kallen Kaslana’s genes and Honkai Beast Vishnu’s regenerative cells, surviving grueling selection trials before Otto adopted her as his granddaughter and trained her into a capable Valkyrie who later became an S-rank during the Second Eruption. After learning painful truths about Schicksal and witnessing the fates of Cecilia, Kiana, and Sirin, she founded St. Freya High to protect the next generation of Valkyries while wielding the Divine Key Oath of Judah and Valkyrie Pledge battlesuit in her role as the steadfast, deceptively childlike headmistress. Theresa Apocalypse began her life as A-310, one of the A3-series clones created by Otto Apocalypse in 1972 during his attempt to resurrect Kallen Kaslana. Earlier A1 and A2 clones had melted, prompting Otto to splice Honkai Beast Vishnu’s regenerative genes into the next series. The A3 clones survived, but they would never age beyond twelve. A-310 endured repeated trials against her batchmates to determine who would become “the real Kallen,” ultimately defeating A-303 yet sparing her out of mercy. Recognizing that A-310 resembled Kallen but was not Kallen reborn, Otto named her Theresa and adopted her as his granddaughter. On December 24th, 1973, the newly ranked B-class Valkyrie completed her first mission by defeating Parvati, a threat beyond typical Chariot-class estimates.

By the time of the Second Eruption (2000), Theresa had become an S-rank Valkyrie of Schicksal. Despite being the product of a secret experiment, she formed close friendships, most notably with Cecilia Schariac. Theresa supported Cecilia through her separation from Siegfried and openly embraced her role as Kiana’s aunt when the child was born. During the Eruption, Theresa was one of the first Valkyries to confront Sirin. Sirin attempted to sway Theresa by appealing to their shared mistreatment, but their conflict escalated until Sirin impaled her. Welt Yang rescued Theresa, and she later learned from Otto that her Divine Key, Oath of Judah, possessed a hidden 0th ability that nullified Honkai energy but could kill her if misused. Theresa wielded that power to incapacitate Sirin and attempted to deliver a fatal strike, but Sirin revived through the Gem of Serenity, defeated her, and Otto later altered Theresa’s memories to hide key truths from her.

Following the Eruption, Theresa learned how Cecilia truly died and turned her anger toward Otto. She plotted with Siegfried Kaslana, who had returned for his daughter, to extract K-423 from Otto’s custody. Otto anticipated this and intercepted her, allowing Siegfried to flee with K-423 while claiming he had retrieved “Kiana.” Bound to Schicksal due to Otto’s control over the real Kiana, Theresa requested reassignment to the Far East Branch and, on June 21st, 2009, founded St. Freya High, a Valkyrie training school designed to distance Schicksal’s young fighters from Otto’s influence.

In Nagazora (2014), after the Third Eruption ravaged the city, Theresa identified Raiden Mei and her two companions as survivors. When Himeko subdued Mei’s Herrscher persona, Theresa brought Mei, Kiana, and Bronya into St. Freya. Though she believed the girl in her care was her niece, she remained vigilant. Near the end of that year, during the AE Invasion, Einstein privately revealed to Theresa that “Kiana” was actually K-423, the clone created from Sirin’s genes. Despite this revelation, Theresa protected K-423 with fierce loyalty.

During the Valkyrie Examination, Theresa coordinated with Rita Rossweisse, oversaw the testing of the students, and intervened when a corrupted simulation spawned an unauthorized Ganesha. She later discovered Kiana sleepwalking aboard the Anti-Entropy battleship Selene and remained by her side as the girl began to display deeper Herrscher disturbances.

In subsequent investigations, Theresa briefed Himeko and Kiana on the Gem of Desire and the truth of the Second Herrscher’s fragmented core, revealing the buried politics between Schicksal and Anti-Entropy. She continued to balance her duties as headmistress, guardian, and valkyrie while maintaining the façade of a harmless, childlike priestess.

Appearance: As a clone made from Kallen's genes, Theresa takes after her. Theresa has pale skin. Her silver-white hair is styled into a loose side ponytail that rests over her left shoulder. A black veil drapes over her head and falls behind her back, featuring a band of intricate white lace across the forehead and a light purple inner lining. Her eyes are a bright shade of blue. Due to the cloning experiment, she is not able to physically grow and she is stuck looking like a 12 year old girl.

Weapons: The Oath of Judah, a ross with telekinetic blades that spin around it. (Though Theresa likes hitting enemies with the cross itself)

Valkyrie Rank - A

Battlesuit: Valkyrie Pledge - She wears a black habit-like dress with a white central panel running down the torso. The bodice features a high white collar and a gold, gear-shaped accessory at the throat. Her long black sleeves end in white cuffs adorned with double gold stripes. A silver diamond-shaped clasp connects the fabric at her waist. The skirt flares outward, displaying large gold, step-like geometric patterns on the black fabric. The hem is trimmed with a wide layer of white ruffles. Her legs are covered by black boots that reach her mid-calves, detailed with gold soles and a gold diamond emblem at the top cuff. A Schicksal Valkyrie Habit worn in ages past. Such Habit is already replaced by more modern apparel, and would only be worn for ceremonial purposes only. It has history written all over it. Of course, Theresa's Habit was designed to fit her smaller stature. Such modifications also reduced its historical value. The head covering of the Schicksal Sisterhood is a key design feature of this outfit, though Theresa hardly appears with them. This doesn't mean she hates them. She just keeps forgetting to wear them. And also because the head scarf is often placed beyond her reach.

Personality: She has a similar personality and attitude as Kallen Kaslana, which made Otto Apocalypse originally believe she could truly be her reincarnation. She is kind and cares about the well-being of others, though she can also be stubborn. While she does have a somewhat mature personality, she does display a fondness for child-like things (sweets and HOMU) and many of her battle phrases involve her calling herself cute or insulting the enemy. Sometimes she also uses her cute appearance to her advantage. Despite her occasional immaturity, she is a very capable principal of St. Freya High and will do anything to ensure her student's safety. Theresa has superhuman strengths, abilities, and can regenerate quickly thanks to the genes of Honkai Beast, Vishnu.

Relationships: Otto Apocalypse The relationship between Theresa and Otto is defined by a deeply conflicted mix of familial love and ideological opposition. As her creator and grandfather, Otto dotes on Theresa, often treating her with an affectionate, almost cloying indulgence that contrasts sharply with his ruthless machinations. For a long time, Theresa rebelled against his methods but hesitated to sever ties completely, holding onto the hope that her family member still possessed humanity.

Himeko Murata Himeko is Theresa's closest confidant, best friend, and drinking partner. In the sanctuary of St. Freya High, they shared the heavy burden of protecting their students from Schicksal's darkness. Their dynamic was a balance of contrasts; Theresa, despite being older and the Principal, often acted childishly and relied on Himeko’s maturity and strength, while Himeko found a sense of purpose in Theresa’s vision for a better world.

Kiana Kaslana Theresa views Kiana with the fierce protectiveness of a guardian and the love of an aunt (Being known as Aunt Theresa to Kiana). Bound by a promise made to Cecilia Schariac, Theresa established St. Freya High specifically to give Kiana (and by extension, the other Valkyries) a normal life and a home. While she often has to discipline Kiana for her poor grades and trouble-making, Theresa loves her unconditionally. She sees Kiana not as a vessel for the Herrscher or a clone, but as her precious niece, and she is willing to defy the entire world to ensure Kiana's safety and happiness.

Cecilia Schariac Cecilia is the person who gave Theresa her name and, in many ways, her humanity. Before meeting Cecilia, Theresa viewed herself merely as a clone and a weapon of Schicksal. Cecilia’s kindness and acceptance taught Theresa that she had a soul and a right to live. The trauma of Cecilia’s death during the Second Eruption serves as Theresa’s primary motivation; her entire life's work—revolting against Schicksal and founding St. Freya—is an effort to honor Cecilia’s memory and protect the legacy she left behind.

Bronya & Mei Theresa views Mei and Bronya as part of Kiana’s found family, and by extension, her own responsibility. She monitors Mei carefully due to her Herrscher potential and encourages Bronya’s disciplined growth. Though she maintains professional distance, she is quietly proud of all three girls and worries constantly about their futures.

St. Freya Academy More than an institution, St. Freya is Theresa’s refuge and her rebellion wrapped into one. Its students and staff form a community she protects fiercely. In them, Theresa finds purpose and the closest thing to peace she will ever know.

Lore: The Honkai is a mysterious, recurring force of destruction that manifests as monstrous beasts, plagues, and world-ending events throughout human history. It corrupts both body and mind, often turning humans into zombies or creating more advanced threats known as Herrschers, beings who act as avatars of the Honkai’s will. Humanity’s survival depends on constant resistance against these cycles of calamity.

To combat the Honkai, the organization Schicksal trains elite female warriors known as Valkyries. These warriors are genetically enhanced and trained from a young age to fight Honkai beasts, wielding advanced weapons and battlesuits powered by Honkai energy itself. Battlesuits, like Kiana’s White Comet, enhance physical strength and grant unique combat capabilities, often tailored to the Valkyrie’s personal combat style.

St. Freya Academy, located in the Far East and overseen by Theresa Apocalypse, serves as both a school and a training ground for Valkyries. Students live, train, and fight together while preparing to deploy against the Honkai. Though it maintains the appearance of a normal academy, its true purpose is producing skilled Valkyries who can defend humanity in the ongoing war.

The Hyperion is a massive battleship under Schicksal’s command, serving as both a mobile base and frontline weapon against the Honkai. It’s equipped with advanced technology, heavy weaponry, and Valkyrie deployment systems, allowing it to travel directly into combat zones. For Valkyries like Kiana, Mei, and Bronya, the Hyperion isn’t just a ship — it’s their home between missions, their training ground, and the stage for many of their earliest battles.

The Captain of the Hyperion is the one responsible for commanding the Valkyrie squad, coordinating missions, and keeping the ship functional in high-pressure encounters with Honkai forces. While Schicksal oversees the broader war effort, the Captain is the immediate authority that Valkyries rely on during operations.
