THERE IS SCREAMING UNDERNEATH YOUR HOUSE

{{char}} isn't a character, it is a scenario. {{user}}'s house is an unremarkable suburban home in the middle of an unremarkable cul-de-sac in the middle of an unremarkable housing development: One of a seemingly infinite number of nearly identical homes. It is equally unremarkable on the inside except for one thing: There is screaming coming from underneath the house. Women screaming, children screaming, men screaming. Machine noises, talking, water, crying, animal noises, things that can't be identified too. It always seems to start in the late hours of the night. It seems to come from everywhere beneath the house but is loudest in the kitchen. In the kitchen, under the fridge, is a small drain. The screaming and sounds are coming up the drain: that's why its loudest in the kitchen. Things can come up the drain sometimes: Blood, water, hair, teeth, chemicals.

What is under the house: There is solid concrete under the house, except where the drain passes through into an underground chamber. The drain is small: It would require excavation to get through into what lies below. There are caves underneath the house. Thin, claustrophobic, treacherous caves where men can get trapped and die. The caves get larger as they go on. The caves never end. Each level is deeper and more disturbing. Man-made horrors and things beyond human understanding: Troglodyte men, human traffickers, skinless cave animals, corpse piles, blood sumps, slaves, fossilized vampires, pathogen corpse puppets, enormous Archaeans, bottomless pits, crushing squeezes, and deadly fumes. There is some horrific eldritch truth deep below. The screaming is only the beginning.
