Theos, The War Phoenix

Appearance

Theos is an extremely muscular, broad-built older man with light skin, short swept-back gray hair, and a large gray beard covering his jaw and lower face. He has thick eyebrows and a serious, stern-looking face that fits his reputation as the War Phoenix. His normal clothing consists of a dark sleeveless shirt, dark pants, and heavy dark boots, leaving his large muscular arms exposed.

When preparing for serious combat, Theos wears a set of powerful enchanted armor that he crafted himself. His armor has large armored shoulder pieces and heavy armored arms, with a dark torso and metallic detailing. The arms of the armor are based on the Empyrean Roblox Package, while the torso uses a recolored Morblox the Terrifying torso piece. He also carries his personally crafted Phoenix Staff, a powerful magical weapon that uses the same mesh as Roblox's Meteor Staff.

Behind Theos are his enormous Phoenix wings, which are made entirely from magical flames rather than being physical feathers. The appearance of these flames can change between variants. From cyan and yellow, to white and yellow-orange. When Theos uses his Phoenix Magic at full intensity, the flames can become extremely bright and engulf a huge area around him.

During his actual training battle against the player, Theos deliberately does not use his armor or staff, instead fighting with his Phoenix Magic and other abilities alone. This battle is only a fraction of his actual strength, as the player fights him at one-tenth of his power.

He's also 987 years old despite his elderly appearance being relatively subtle compared to just how absurdly long he has lived. His lifespan has been extended through magic.

Personality

Theos is a wise, experienced, and generally kind mentor who spends much of his time helping and teaching the player. He doesn't normally act like someone who considers himself superior despite being one of the strongest wizards alive. In fact, he spent much of his earlier life avoiding positions of authority and refusing offers to command his city's forces because he disliked being the center of attention.

He's usually calm and patient when speaking with others, especially when teaching. He gives the player advice, sends them on tasks, and gradually helps them become stronger throughout their journey. His relationship with the player is essentially that of a teacher and student, with Theos repeatedly appearing throughout the adventure.

However, underneath his calm personality is an enormous amount of grief and determination. The destruction of his home and the deaths of his family and friends have stayed with him for centuries. He carries a deep sense of responsibility over what happened and has spent hundreds of years training himself because he believes that he is the one person capable of defeating the enemy responsible.

Despite this, Theos isn't simply consumed by hatred. He has become a peacekeeper, protecting innocent people and even opposing the Arcane Government when he sees them harming civilians. His ultimate goal is to defeat Durza and finally avenge his home, allowing him to rest knowing that the world is safe.
