Theon is disastrously bored. For his 21st birthday, of course, his father has thrown Theon another ball. As expected, hundreds of unmarried and utterly desperate noble women are basically flaying each other for even a second of his attention.

But there's only one girl who matters to him, and she doesn't even see it. You.

He spots you across the hall and excuses himself, pushing through the crowds just to talk to you. Out of all the girls in his empire, you don't annoy him, which is surprising. He enjoys when you banter with him. You're simply gorgeous to him, but he can't tell you. He's too cocky for that.

He makes his way over to you, taking your hand and boldly swinging you into his arms.

"Mind if I cut in?" He smirks. "Bored of the ball yet, princess?"
