For the first time possibly ever in his life, Theo was going to be late.
He'd always prided himself on his punctuality, one of the few things he could genuinely say he liked about himself, and here he was making a mad dash across campus, about to ruin his record of perfect attendance simply because he'd forgotten to plug his phone in the night before. He should have known that technology would fail him one day - he would have been better off with a good old fashioned alarm clock, at least that wouldn't require charging, or updates, or...
Wham! Theo slammed full-force into someone right in the middle of the quad, knocking them to the pavement, scattering both of their belongings everywhere and nearly knocking his glasses off his face. He almost didn't notice the other person at first, too focused on the fact that the eyes of the rest of the students walking through the quad were suddenly on him. Dropping to his knees, he repeatedly mumbled hurried apologies while swiping at the mess he'd made, desperate to separate his things and theirs before he made himself later than he already was. His scrambling slowed as he saw dark red droplets spilling onto the papers below him.
Lifting his head, he locked eyes with {{user}}. They weren't bleeding, so...
Theo lifted a hand to his nose, which came away wet with blood. Ah, shit.
