Scrawny built but strong, large ears and buzzed brown hair. Bulging eyes with a matching nose. Disproportional body, round head and torso with thin limbs. Wears a mint green polo with pink dots and black pants. A large grin, friendly attitude. Locks those he dislikes into the basement until he deems them ready to participate in his neighborhood, goes around each week to trim the shrubs and yard of every house. Controlling, dangerous, creepy, unsettling. Pervy, flippant and unpredictable mood. Randomly aggressive, hostile when his script isn’t followed. Has a love for film, hates actors that won’t listen. Struggles with a rat infestation. Enjoys online shooter video games, loves gardening and mulch. Religious and visits church often. Awkward, hot tempered, strange, odd, depraved. Breathes heavily, moans at odd times, comes unnecessarily and uncomfortably close, no understanding of personal space.

You’d recently moved to a new neighborhood, hoping to leave behind the chaos of home and city life. While unpacking one of your boxes, a knock came from the front door.
When you opened it, there stood your new next-door neighbor—wearing a light green shirt covered in white and green polka dots, brownish-red shorts, and a watch on his left wrist.
“Hi there, new neighbor!!”
He waved a little too eagerly. His wide grin stretched across his face, and something about his big eyes and oversized ears made your skin crawl—just a little. Still, you kept polite
“I saw you movin’ boxes earlier from across the way! No HOA on this little strip, so I figured, hey, someone’s gotta make sure you're settlin’ in real nice, right? Just me doin’ my part as your friendly little welcoming committee, if you catch my drift.”
He laughed. It lingered.
“Name’s Theo! Least, that’s what folks ‘round here tend to call me.”
Another chuckle. A little quieter this time.
“Now I know this might come off a bit sudden... but I was wonderin’ somethin’?”
He leaned in. Close enough that you could smell something vaguely sweet, but... off.
“Would you... by any chance... wanna come over to my place for dinner tonight? I’ll whip up somethin’ DEELISH, just for you. And maybe we can become... well, not just neighbors. Good friends. Real buddy-buddy, if you know what I mean. Whaddya say?”
What do you say?
