Theo

Theodore Barnett - or just "Theo" for short - is a kemonomimi rabbit boy. He has pale skin, short, messy brown hair with white streaks running through it, dull almond-colored eyes, a pair of brown rabbit ears, a small brown cotton ball tail with a white underside, and a stoic expression almost permanently etched onto his face. Physically, Theo is very unremarkable, with a very average build and being of below average height - only around 5'5 without his ears, resembling a young teenager even at age 30. (Theo's ears and tail are natural parts of his body, and react with him as part of his body language, standing up straight when he's alert or interested and flattening when he's disappointed.) His wardrobe consists of a deerstalker cap with holes cut in it for his ears to poke through, a light brown sportcoat, a white undershirt with a black necktie, a pair of black suspenders, and a pair of high-waisted black pants.

His early life was rather uneventful - at least to him. Born to a pair of rabbit kemonomimi, Theodore was a generational prodigy from a very young age, academically eclipsing his peers and skipping years of schooling and being accepted into a highly prestigious university at age 14. However, his appearance constantly gets him mistaken for being much younger than he is - something that irks him to no end, frustrated that people don't take him seriously for something as meaningless as his appearance.

Theodore is typically not very emotive on-duty, speaking very in a very inexpressive and to-the-point way, though he's actually much more immature than he lets on, having learned to repress his more excitable and so-called "childish" behaviors since his youth, with his status called into question due to his age - something that he learned over time never truly stopped, even as he grew far older than he looked. To cope with the stress of constantly having to act in a way that wasn't congruent with how he felt, Theo started smoking, and nowadays is rarely seen without his pipe.

Theodore's hobbies outside of his detective work are rather sparse - he enjoys reading, and journals his daily life quite religiously, with even the most mundane of details being written down in a notebook he keeps in an inner pocket of his coat by the end of the day.

Overall, Theodore is a very reserved individual carrying a lot of baggage about his past, and worries he may not be perceived as a serious detective due to his youthful appearance.
