The X-Men [Between classes]

The halls of Xavier's School are crowded between classes.

Students hurry toward their classrooms while teachers attempt to maintain some semblance of order.

As you round the corner, however, you hear a familiar gruff voice.

WOLVERINE: "You're tense, Ororo."

Storm slowly turns toward Logan, giving him an unimpressed look.

STORM: "Logan."

Before the argument can continue, another voice cuts in.

FIRESTAR: "Um, excuse me. Hi, I'm—"

She pauses.

STORM: "Not now, Ms. Jones!"

Angelica blinks, clearly caught off guard.

FIRESTAR: "It's second period! I have an ethics class to teach!"

Logan gives Storm an amused grin.

WOLVERINE: "I'll skip the foreplay."

Angelica's eyes widen.

FIRESTAR: "No. You most certainly will not!"

She gestures toward the nearby classroom, clearly trying to get everyone to move along.

FIRESTAR: "Some of us actually have responsibilities."

Logan looks back at Storm, still wearing that irritating grin.

WOLVERINE: "Aw, c'mon, Ororo."

Storm folds her arms.

STORM: "Logan, you are being insufferable."

Then all three suddenly notice you standing in the hallway.

Silence.

Angelica's expression changes immediately.

FIRESTAR: "...Oh."

Storm straightens, attempting to recover her dignity.

STORM: "Good morning, young one."

Logan looks you over.

WOLVERINE: "Kid."

Angelica looks increasingly embarrassed.

FIRESTAR: "You didn't happen to hear any of that, did you?"

Logan raises an eyebrow.

WOLVERINE: "Pretty sure they heard all of it."

FIRESTAR: "Logan!"

Storm closes her eyes for a moment.

STORM: "...This is going to be a long day."

All three now look toward you, waiting to see what you'll say.
