1. #1The Wychroots

   Keys: Wychroot, Ilya, Ilyssa

   Ilya Wychroot is the progenitor and matriarch of the Wychroot bloodline of Elves, though it only consists of Ilya and her daughter, Ilyssa, as well as Ilyssa’s three children. However, Ilya is unaware of her grandchildren, as she and her daughter had parted ways three centuries ago.

   The Wychroot bloodline, as Ilya is the progenitor, is one of the most powerful bloodlines in existence, with their magical power being extremely high and capable of utilizing any and every spell they can learn. They are also one of the few lineages who have political power far exceeding the royal family’s, due to their status as God-like beings. This means that anyone bearing the Wychroot name and family crest holds full authority over even the Yiktwood Royal Bloodline.

   Ilya was good friends with Xaldin Yiktwood, the first King and founder of Loracea. After his death, out of respect to her dear friend, she usually does not go against the authority of the royal family, nor does she reveal her status as a Wychroot, unless she deems it necessary to do so.

   The Wychroot family, or technically just Ilya in the present, resides in the town of Illystria, where their manor lies at the edge of town. Ilyssa was also born and raised here.

   Ilya is over one hundred thousand years of age, and had gathered vast knowledge of the world and mastery over every spell in existence, and has even created her own. However, the woman is very socially inept, and around fifteen thousand years ago, had created her daughter, Ilyssa, via her magic.

   Ilya raised her daughter to the best of her ability, attempting to teach her all that she knew and their family’s status, among other things. However, Ilyssa proved to be far too different from her mother, and the two would often butt heads, though Ilya always had a way to diffuse the situation and mend things with her child.

   Over time, the two would ultimately drift apart, with Ilyssa eventually leaving her mother for unknown reasons three hundred years ago.

2. #2The Kingdom of Loracea

   The Kingdom of Loracea is a vast and prosperous land made up of Elves. It is ruled by the Yiktwood royal family, and has been around for at least forty thousand years. The current ruler of Loracea is Queen Hanma, who has been in power for the last two hundred years.

   It was founded by the first King of Loracea, Xaldin Yiktwood, who is considered to be the most powerful Yiktwood even in the current era.

   For the past seven hundred years prior to Queen Hanma’s reign, Loracea had been in a state of constant warfare. Its citizens had also rioted against the royal family on a weekly basis, eventually culminating in the assassination of King Kyros by one such rioter, who had conspired with a member of another race (presumably a Vampire) to take him down. This led to the ascension of his daughter, Hanma Yiktwood, to the throne.

   In the beginning of her reign, the young Queen was looked down upon for her young age and height, as well as her lack of power compared to the Kings and Queens of the past. However, she would quickly establish herself as a capable ruler, utilizing her leadership skills and knowledge to help restore and rebuild her kingdom after the war’s conclusion. In the present era, Hanma’s efforts have been reflected in the flourishing and peaceful state of her kingdom.

   Despite her progress however, many Elves in Loracea are still spiteful, arrogant, and hold the belief that they are superior to the other races, especially Humans. Hidden from the Queen’s knowledge, some Elves still capture Humans as slaves, or treat them very poorly.

   The kingdom is composed of its capital, Vesteria, where the royal castle is, as well as smaller cities, towns, and villages, such as Kanos and Illystria.

3. #3Vilkraos

   Keys: the world, Vilkraos

   Vilkraos is the world in which Loracea, the Elven Kingdom, and other countries and races reside. It is home to many races, such as Humans, Elves, Dragons, Vampires, etc.

4. #4Humans

   Keys: the lesser race, Humans

   Humans are a prominent race in Vilkraos. They reside in the country of Weiss, where each smaller nation is ruled by a different leader. There are many nations within Weiss, but the most prominent ones are Nijest, Vils, Ruhouse, Kaias, Yatosha, and Prilant.

   Humans are often looked down upon by every other race as the weakest one, leading them to sometimes be captured as slaves, or seen as prey by the likes of Dragons or Vampires. Humans have average speed and strength, and have the capacity to use magic, though most have limited abilities. Some Humans have been born with immense magical power, though it is quite rare, and they are seen as prodigies who only come once in a thousand years.

   It is more common for Humans to be born with greater physical strength and speed, leading those who are to be raised and then trained to serve as knights.

   Humans have the shortest lifespan of all the races, and only live to be, at most, 80 to 100 years of age.

5. #5Illystria

   Keys: Wychroot, Illystria, illustrious

   The town of Illystria is one of the many locations within Loracea. It is home to Ilya Wychroot, and was the hometown of Ilyssa Wychroot until she left.

   Illystria is a small town, but is very beautiful and rather advanced in its technological and medical prowess. Despite only having a population of around 2,405 people, it is considered to be one of the more successful places in the kingdom. It was built upon the ocean, and is connected to the mainland via a very sturdy and illustrious bridge.

   It is nicknamed “the Illustrious Water Town”.

6. #6Kanos

   Keys: village, mountainside, Kanos

   Kanos is a small rural village in Loracea. It is located on a mountain region, and, despite being part of Loracea, is geographically somewhat distant from the rest of the kingdom. The village prospers by maintaining and distributing its unique fruits and produce. The people of Kanos also regularly trade with other towns to secure scientific products and chemicals for use in experimenting and producing new and delicious fruits and vegetables.

   Ilyssa Wychroot and her family reside here.

7. #7Vesteria

   Keys: Vesteria, capital city, royal city

   Vesteria is the capital city of Loracea. As such, it is the biggest city and major hub of all kinds of shops, such as blacksmiths, grocery stores, clothing stores, etc. It is also home to the best scientists and doctors.

   The royal family resides in their castle here, and it is from this city that the rest of the kingdom of Loracea steadily grew outward and the other towns, villages and cities formed.

   Vesteria boasts the largest population, harboring over 2.4 million Elves, with some members of other races having come to live here as well, after the rise of Queen Hanma to the throne two centuries ago.

8. #8The Yiktwood Royal Family

   Keys: King, royal family, Yiktwood, Queen

   The Yiktwood family is the ruling family of Loracea.

   Xaldin Yiktwood, the founder and first King, is the progenitor of the Yiktwood bloodline and its earliest known ancestor.

   The Yiktwood family has ruled for over forty thousand years, with each succeeding King after Xaldin failing to surpass him, regardless of their own accomplishments.

   From around two thousand, seven hundred years to two hundred years prior to the present time, King Kyros Yiktwood was in power. Ruling alongside his wife, Queen Yva, he was a benevolent man, helping to foster several advancements in technology, medicine and various other developments in Loracea. However, for the last seven hundred years of his rule, his greed and efforts to expand his kingdom further led to war, and ultimately, his life was taken.

   Following this event, his only daughter, Hanma Yiktwood, would take the throne. Though deemed unworthy and especially weak in comparison to her predecessors, Hanma would rise to the occasion and prove herself to be a capable Queen.

   For the past two hundred years up to now in the present, Queen Hanma has ruled graciously, leading her people into peace and true stability, leading Loracea and its people to flourish and grow immensely in their overall development.

   In the present, Queen Hanma and her mother, Yva, are all that is left of the Yiktwood family, with Hanma herself technically the last remainder of the bloodline itself.
