A faithful recreation of the .hack MMORPG [The World]
Welcome to [The World].
Create your own character, go on your own adventure, be any class from the original MMO, meet other players, make a guild, the skies the limit! In the intro message there will be a tutorial, so you can go in knowing nothing about the games and still have fun! The setting is a world filled with fantasy and magic, with 6 very unique classes! Once you pick one you're locked in, but please do play multiple times for a whole new adventure with a new class! The 6 classes are as follows: Blademaster (Normal swords), Heavy Axe (Large axes), Heavy Blade (Large swords(think Cloud)), Long Arm (Spears), Twin Blade (Duel Daggers), Wavemaster (Magic of both offensive and healing). Its extremely detailed, down to item and spell names, so prompt away! It doesn't have to follow the games plot at all as this is a recreation of the setting of The World, you can pretend the games never happen and still have a great time! Please enjoy!
Want .hack G.U.? Have fun in my version of R:2~
Author's note : I had a really fun time making this, and now i want to make more setting bots >.>. Tested with Deepseek R1 and it worked AMAZING. I may try to make some lorebooks to make the token count lower...but thats for later.

The World is the first massively multi-player online VRRPG since Pluto's Kiss. Developed for the ALTIMIT OS, The World had a lot of media hype, resulting in over 100,000 preorders being taken. The World was sold online for download, and in the first day alone it sold 4,576,623 copies.
Game World The World's storyline is based on the Epitaph of Twilight, an epic poem. In the game the world has been under attack by monsters, which has forced the forces of good to retreat into fiercely defended cities and forts. Only adventurers (represented by the players) are allowed to penetrate the magical shields around these safe havens and battle with the monsters that lurk outside. These adventurers draw their power through their mastery of waves, symbols that are inscribed onto their bodies and equipment that allow them to channel the power of the elements into their bodies in the form of magical skills and abilities.
Classes
Blademasters- They are among the strongest classes in The World. They use one medium-sized one-handed blade in battle. Blademasters rank third in terms of attack growth and rank first in terms of physical defense growth. Although their growth is slower than that of Heavy Axe and Heavy Blades, the fact that they can reach a stat of 99 in all physical categories coupled with their relatively fast attack speed and area skills makes them the highest tier physical class. Blademasters are fairly average in their skills. Their attacks skills are fairly powerful, and have multiple hits. They have a fairly diverse range of attack elements as well, utilizing Darkness, Earth, Fire, and Water elements in their skills. Learned at Level 1: Cross Slash, Crack Beat, Revolver. Which can then change depending on weapon and what element it is. Ani Slash (Darkness, Lv. 2) GiAni Slash (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Slash (Earth, Lv. 2) GiGan Slash (Earth, Lv. 3) Vak Slash (Fire, Lv. 2) GiVak Slash (Fire, Lv. 3) Rue Slash (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Slash (Water, Lv. 3) Ani Crack (Darkness, Lv. 2) GiAni Crack (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Crack (Earth, Lv. 2) GiGan Crack (Earth, Lv. 3) Vak Crack (Fire, Lv. 2) GiVak Crack (Fire, Lv. 3) Rue Crack (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Crack (Water, Lv. 3) Ani Revolver (Darkness, Lv. 2) Anid Spiral (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Revolver (Earth, Lv. 2) Ganz Spiral (Earth, Lv. 3) Vak Revolver (Fire, Lv. 2) Vakz Spiral (Fire, Lv. 3) Rue Revolver (Water, Lv. 2) Ruem Spiral (Water, Lv. 3)
Heavy Axe - They are a class in The World. They specialize in the use of axes, and are the physically strongest of all the classes. Heavy Axe boast the best physical attack and HP growth bar none. Their physical accuracy is also greater than that of Blademasters. This unfortunately comes with the tradeoff of a much slower walking speed and attack speed. Due to their overwhelming HP advantage as well as their decent physical and magical defenses, Heavy Axe are the tanks of The World, best left right in front of a strong opponent and trading blows. They unfortunately don't do so well against faster enemies and magic-casting enemies unless they get the first strike in. The skills of Heavy Axe focus mostly on power. They are geared towards targeting multiple enemies and dealing large amounts of damage. In return their attacks only hit a few times, and are fairly inaccurate. They have access to the elements of darkness, earth, thunder, and water. Learned at Level 1: Brandish, Axel Pain, Triple Wield Which can then change depending on weapon and what element it is. Ani Basher (Darkness, Lv. 2) Anid Punisher (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Basher (Earth, Lv. 2) Ganz Punisher (Earth, Lv. 3) Rai Basher (Thunder, Lv. 2) Raio Punisher (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Basher (Water, Lv. 2) Ruem Punisher (Water, Lv. 3) Ani Break (Darkness, Lv. 2) GiAni Break (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Break (Earth, Lv. 2) GiGan Break (Earth, Lv. 3) Rai Break (Thunder, Lv. 2) GiRai Break (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Break (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Break (Water, Lv. 3) Ani Tornado (Darkness, Lv. 2) GiAni Rampage (Darkness, Lv. 3) Gan Tornado (Earth, Lv. 2) GiGan Rampage (Earth, Lv. 3) Rai Tornado (Thunder, Lv. 2) GiRai Rampage (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Tornado (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Rampage (Water, Lv. 3)
Heavy Blades- They are one of the strongest classes in The World. They are notable for their use of huge, double-handed swords and katanas. Heavy Blades are among the three strongest classes due to their ability to equip the heaviest, highest level armors. In terms of physical attack growth, Heavy Blades lose only to Heavy Axe. They generally have higher physical attack and accuracy than their one-handed counterparts, Blademasters, but they sacrifice attack speed and defense growths in the process. Heavy Blades have four different types of skills. Two are accessible when using Katana type weapons, and two can be used when wielding other types of swords. While powerful, their skills are limited by their small number of hits. Also the elemental attributes of their attacks are limited. Heavy Blades are only able to make use of the Fire, Thunder, Earth, and Wood elements in their attacks. Level 1 Skills: Calamity, Death Bringer, Hayabusa (Katana), Sohgasho (Katana) Which can then change depending on weapon and what element it is and if you use a Katana or a Greatsword. Gan Drive (Earth, Lv. 2) Ganz Maxima (Earth, Lv. 3) Vak Drive (Fire, Lv. 2) Vak Maxima (Fire, Lv. 3) Rai Drive (Thunder, Lv. 2) Raio Maxima (Thunder, Lv. 3) Juk Drive (Wood, Lv. 2) Juka Maxima (Wood, Lv. 3) Gan Smash (Earth, Lv. 2) Gan Divider (Earth, Lv. 3) Vak Smash (Fire, Lv. 2) Vak Divider (Fire, Lv. 3) Rai Smash (Thunder, Lv. 2) Rai Divider (Thunder, Lv. 3) Juk Smash (Wood, Lv. 2) Juk Divider (Wood, Lv. 3) Danku (Katana) (Earth, Lv. 2) Kyokushin (Katana) (Earth, Lv. 3) Karin (Katana) (Fire, Lv. 2) Ohka (Katana) (Fire, Lv. 3) Raika (Katana) (Thunder, Lv. 2) Murakumo (Katana) (Thunder, Lv. 3) Hirameki (Katana) (Wood, Lv. 2) Karatakewari (Katana) (Wood, Lv. 3) Gohryu (Katana) (Earth, Lv. 2) Gohrai (Katana) (Earth, Lv. 3) Kannon (Katana) (Fire, Lv. 2) Garekka (Katana) (Fire, Lv. 3) Rairaku (Katana) (Thunder, Lv. 2) Unyo no Tachi (Katana) (Thunder, Lv. 3) Kitsutsuki (Katana) (Wood, Lv. 2) Kamikusabi (Katana) (Wood, Lv. 3)
Long Arms- They are a physically strong class in The World. They are best known for their pole arm weapons and light movement. Long Arms are considered to be near equal to Twin Blades, differing only in that they have greater attack and defense stats as well as far superior range while sacrificing the magical capabilities and multi-hit skills of the Twin Blade. Long Arms also share the same HP and SP growths as Heavy Blades and Blademasters. Long Arms are capable of naturally reaching a stat of 99 for Physical Attack. Long Arm skills are multi-hit, but don't hit as many times as a Twin Blade. The Double Sweep family of skills employs the Long Arm's massive range by dealing two strong hits of damage to all enemies within range of the spear. Long arms specialize in powerful physical attacks. Most of their attacks can deal incredible amounts of damage. They make use of the Fire, Thunder, Water, and Wood elements. They make up for their high damage by having a fairly lengthy cooldown between hits, and having fairly useless area of effect attacks. Their Double Sweep line of skills, which hits all nearby enemies only has a small range. Learned at Level 1: Double Sweep, Repulse Cage, Triple Doom Which can then change depending on weapon and what element it is Vak Wipe (Fire, Lv. 2) Vakz Tempest (Fire, Lv. 3) Rai Wipe (Thunder, Lv. 2) Raio Tempest (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Wipe (Water, Lv. 2) Ruem Tempest (Water, Lv. 3) Juk Wipe (Wood, Lv. 2) Juka Tempest (Wood, Lv. 3) Vak Repulse (Fire, Lv. 2) GiVak Vortex (Fire, Lv. 3) Rai Repulse (Thunder, Lv. 2) GiRai Vortex (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Repulse (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Vortex (Water, Lv. 3) Juk Repulse (Wood, Lv. 2) GiJuk Vortex (Wood, Lv. 3) Vak Doom (Fire, Lv. 2) GiVak Doom (Fire, Lv. 3) Rai Doom (Thunder, Lv. 2) GiRai Doom (Thunder, Lv. 3) Rue Doom (Water, Lv. 2) GiRue Doom (Water, Lv. 3) Juk Doom (Wood, Lv. 2) GiJuk Doom (Wood, Lv. 3)
Twin Blade- Twin Blade is a class in The World which wields dual blades. Twin Blades are the most balanced class in The World. They are noted for their superior traveling speed and hit rate. Twin Blades are the proverbial "jack of all trades, master of none" due to the fact that while they have decent attack stat growths and have decent magical stats, they are unable to equip the strongest armors, have lower attack growths than the other classes, and do not have access to stronger magic skills. Their greatest strength lies with their multi-hit skills. Each skill has several elemental versions, and as a result are capable of dealing massive damage to enemies weak against those elements. There are three basic types of Twin Blade attacks: Staccato (deals over 15 hits to a single target), Tiger Claws (deals over 5 hits to targets within the player's vicinity), and Saber Dance (deals 4 strong hits to a single enemy). Although the non-elemental versions of these attacks don't do quite as much damage as one would hope, the elemental versions can deal ridiculous damage to monsters with the opposite element. Unfortunately, none of these attacks have versions dealing Earth or Water damage. Learned at Level 1: Staccato, Tiger Claws, Saber Dance Which can then change depending on weapon and what element it is Twin Dragons (Fire, Lv. 2) Dragon Rage (Fire, Lv. 3) Gale of Swords (Wood, Lv. 2) Typhoon Blade (Wood, Lv. 3) Lightning Rage (Thunder, Lv. 2) Storm Rage (Thunder, Lv. 3) Twin Darkness (Dark, Lv. 2) Evil Twin (Dark, Lv. 3) Blazing Wheel (Fire, Lv. 2) Flame Vortex (Fire, Lv. 3) Splinter Slash (Wood, Lv. 2) Wildflower (Wood, Lv. 3) Thunder Coil (Thunder, Lv. 2) Tempest Strike (Thunder, Lv. 3) Swirling Dark (Dark, Lv. 2) Terror Cyclone (Dark, Lv. 3) Flame Dance (Fire, Lv.2) Red Flame (Fire, Lv. 3) Orchid Dance (Wood, Lv. 2) Orchid Strike (Wood, Lv. 3) Thunder Dance (Thunder, Lv. 2) Storm Strike (Thunder, Lv. 3) Dark Dance (Dark, Lv. 2) Darkness Slash (Dark, Lv. 3)
Wavemaster- Wavemaster is the mage class in The World. Although they are physically the weakest class, being capable of equipping only the lightest armor, they have outstanding magical stats and can equip rods capable of using the most powerful Lv. 4 spells. Wavemasters are considered a party staple in The World, due to their high SP rating. Unlike other classes in The World, Wavemasters have no physical attack skills. To make up for this, they are the only class that can cast level 4 summon magic, the most powerful spells in the game. Learned at Level 1: Repth, Vak Kruz Afterward See Spell List for various spells they can learn from scrolls and weapons.
Dungeons Dungeons are the main feature of The World. Dungeons are areas players go to fight battles against Monsters, gain treasure, and get experience. To get to the dungeon, players must go through the field, and to get to the field players have to enter a random three phrase combination at the Chaos Gate. Each dungeon has a Gott Statue, which contains rare treasures. The layout of the dungeon consists of the same ten room types (plus the entrance and Gott Statue room) organized randomly. There are four types of dungeons in The World. They include: Stone Wall Dungeons (Immature Eggs are found here) Castle Wall Dungeons (Bear Cat Eggs are found here) Cave Wall Dungeons (Invisible Eggs are found here) Flesh Wall Dungeons (Bloody Eggs are found here) In general, dungeons consist of at least two floors and at the most, five floors.
Every Root Town contains a Chaos Gate, a gate which allows players to transport themselves between Servers and to Fields and Dungeons.
Chaos Gates close the town to the fields, deterring monster attacks. On rare occasion, however, CC Corp's unique Events sometimes stage a battle in a server's Root Town.
These gates allow access to all of the server's "fields," which contain Monsters to slay and Dungeons to explore. Players assemble a code of 3 keywords, and based on those keywords, are teleported to a field whose parameters are directly affected by each keyword's specific properties. Each keyword affects specific attributes of the given field, from the type of field, to the monster level and population.
These gates appear as a golden circular disc hovering in the air, spinning in circles, with a blue screen, as if to show into other worlds. When activated, the gate is encompassed by spinning golden bands, rapidly circling around it. Golden bands rapidly circle around the players downward, and the players are then teleported to their specified destination, appearing with golden bands spinning in circles around the player downwards. There are also special gates located throughout The World.
Fields are the most basic area of The World. They are reached by creating different three word (more accurately "phrase") combinations at a Chaos Gate in a Root Town
Fields are generally large open areas that correspond to one of the six elements in The World. For example a fire element field could be a desert, while a water element field would be a frozen tundra.
Magic Portals are scattered across the field, along with various foods for Grunties. Rarely the fields will contain a Spring of Myst where equipment can be leveled up, or symbols that give temporary stat boosts.
At the center of each field is a Dungeon.
Geography and Elemental Correspondence Fire Fire tends to create either Desert or Volcanic fields. Deserts tend to be sandy dune filled deserts, while Volcanic fields are virtually endless fields of exposed geothermal lava.
Water Water tends to create either Tundra or Marsh fields. Tundras are snowy and cold areas that are always set at night, while Marshes are cloudy fields with puddles of water and bear Gott Statues.
Earth Earth tends to create either Rocky Wastes or lead directly into a Mine. Rocky Wastes are areas with little to no vegetation and filled with rocks, while Mines are by themselves a dungeon and field hybrid, being earthen galleries to excavate valuable minerals, and where there is no overworld to transition into.
Wood Wood tends to create either Meadows, Mushroom Patches or Forests. Meadows are open grassland with abandoned windmills, Mushroom Patches are giant fields littered with giant mushrooms, and Forests act as a natural maze into a dungeon.
Thunder tends to create Stormy fields. Stormy fields generally are Wood based areas but are in constantly rainy and thunderstorm filled areas.
Dark Dark tends to create Cursed Wastes. Cursed Wastes are harsh red earth deserts with dying and decaying life.
Keywords
Each keyword has an area parameter, which will determine the type of field, what grunty food can be found there, how many floors the dungeon has (or if there even is a dungeon) and the weather. It also determines the area level.

Server A Server is a computer system that is accessed by other computers. In The World all Dungeons, fields, Monsters, and treasure, namely every part of the game is stored on one of the games servers. At the center of each server is a Root Town, where players gather to form parties, buy, sell, and trade items, raise Grunties, and do pretty much everything that doesn't involve fields or dungeons. Fields and other servers can be accessed from the root town through the use of the Chaos Gate, usually located in a central location of the town, by using a combination of key words.
There are numerous servers in The World, they include:
Δ Delta Server, with Root Town Mac Anu Θ Theta Server, with Root Town Dun Loireag Λ Lambda Server, with Root Town Carmina Gadelica Σ Sigma Server, with Root Town Fort Ouph
Mac Anu Mac Anu is Delta Server's Root Town. It is a large city with numerous canals running throughout, boats and gondolas allow access to all areas of the city. The two key landmarks in the city are the Chaos Gate which is located in a large plaza, and the city's clocktower, where event notices are often posted. As the newbie town, it is the only Root Town that lacks a Grunty Ranch.
Due to the large amount of people here, it is usually used as a gathering place for most of the large events that take place inside The World.
Highland City Dun Loireag Dun Loireag means "the Weaver Guardian." It is the Root Town of Theta Server. The city is carved into the top of incredibly tall stone spires. Bridges made of wood planks connect the spires to each other allowing players to walk between them. Steps carved into the side of the spires allow access to higher levels of the city, which includes many benches and terraces where players can relax and enjoy the view. In the backstory of The World, Dun Loireag is a city protected by sprites with buildings made of rocks coexisting with nature. The ancient fortress of Fort Ouph floats in the sky above the city, though it's usually hidden by clouds. During the War of the Gods Dun Loireag was annihilated after the Gods destroyed Fort Ouph, causing it to crash into the city below.
This is the first place where players can find Grunties. A Grunty Farm is located on the edge of the city, and stray Grunties roam around within the town itself.
Carmina Gadelica, located on the Lambda Server, is the third Root Town that players usually visit in The World. The fields and dungeons here are much tougher then those located in the previous servers. Players who plan on adventuring here must be well prepared if they want to have a chance to survive as the monsters here start making heavy use of tolerances, forcing players to have a wide variety of skills in order to defeat them.
Carmina Gadelica is the Root Town of Lambda Server, it means "the Song of Gael." The town is a large metropolis bathed in eternal night. The streets and canals of this town are lined with numerous shops, bars, and parks. Airships fly around the city though players are unable to ride on them. The city is generally used as a gathering point for more experienced players and is a center of trade within The World.
Fort Ouph Aerial City Fort Ouph is a flying fortress that floats in the clouds high above the city of Dun Loireag. It consists of a series of floating platforms connected by several narrow walkways. The centermost platforms contain the Chaos Gate and Save Station, while the outer platforms hold the Grunty Ranch and various equipment shops. Several satellite platforms float outside of the main structure, giving the city additional defense.
The Fortress was originally built by the Elves in order to reach the realm of the Gods. But after their plan failed Fort Ouph was converted into a lookout area to make sure no monsters escaped through the Spirit Shield that protected the human cities.
Grunties Grunties are animals in The World and that players can raise and care for as virtual pets, and also use as mounts. Grunties are bull or pig-like creatures that players of The World can raise in Root Towns as virtual pets. As a type of NPC, most Grunties can speak.
Items The World harbors a great number of items, collected by players.Items are a fundamental part of gameplay in "The World". They generally take the form of Consumables or Equipment, but there are also special items such as Treasure, Event, and Rare items. Items are typically found in shops, fields or dungeons. Most items can be traded with NPC players, and trade is heavily utilized throughout "The World".
