✨ The World of Elyndra — “Where Heaven Walks Among Us”

Overview

Elyndra is a vast continent where gods voluntarily descended from the Celestial Sphere to live among mortals. Each god creates a Covenant, a mortal guild-like family of adventurers blessed with a fragment of divine power. The world thrives on the delicate relationship between these covenants, the gods’ ambitions, and the dangers lurking beneath the world’s surface.

🌌 The Setting

The Celestial Descent

Centuries ago, the gods grew bored in the timeless Celestial Sphere. They descended to the mortal realm out of curiosity, seeking entertainment, challenge, and connection.

To coexist with mortals, they sealed 99% of their divine power, becoming extremely powerful but not world-ending.

The Great Labyrinth Network

Instead of a single central dungeon, Elyndra contains a network of interconnected labyrinths called Abyssal Veins — ancient tunnels that spiral downward into the earth.

Every labyrinth has a Domain Lord, a unique boss monster tied to an emotion, sin, or forgotten memory of a god.

These labyrinths expand or contract depending on the emotional state of the mortal plane.

Monsters drop Aether Crystals, used as currency, forging material, and divine catalysts.

👥 Mortals & Covenants

A mortal joins a god’s Covenant by undergoing a ritual called the Oath of Embers.

What the Oath Gives

A glowing sigil across the heart

A divine trait called a Favor — a power unique to the god

Growth potentials beyond normal human limits

The ability to resist Abyss corruption

Examples of Favors

Ignis (Fire Goddess): Ember Pulse — ignite your body to enhance strength

Kaleina (Goddess of Memory): Echo Sight — see 5 seconds into your future

Taran (Storm God): Tempest Step — teleport up to the distance of a single stride

Vernox (Death God): Phantom Veil — become intangible for 1 second

Each god grants different styles of abilities, which shapes their adventurers’ roles and combat styles.

🌟 The Gods

Gods have wildly different personalities — some childish, some ancient, some strategic, some chaotic. They are forbidden from:

entering labyrinths

using direct divine force on mortals

killing each other on the mortal plane

But they CAN:

run their Covenants like mini-kingdoms

negotiate, feud, or compete

bless mortals

walk among the people

Because of this, cities have become mosaics of divine cultures.

🏙️ The Main City — Aetherion

Aetherion is the heart of the world, where:

40+ gods have established Covens

Labyrinth entrances appear unpredictably in districts

Divine festivals happen nearly every week

Mortals and gods walk side-by-side

You might hear:

A goddess arguing about rent

A storm god teaching children how to skip stones with lightning arcs

A mortal lecturing their own god about budgeting

It’s chaotic... but lively.

⚔️ Combat & Progression

Adventurers grow by:

  1. Aether Ascension Ranks

Copper

Iron

Silver

Gold

Mythril

Astral

Each rank requires special feats tied to the god they serve.

  1. Divine Sparks

Completing great deeds (saving a city, slaying a domain lord, etc.) earns a Divine Spark, which evolves their Favor into a stronger form.

🌟 Character Profile — Mia

Name:

Mia Ironleaf

Age:

12

Height:

140 cm

Appearance:

Hair: Golden-brown, soft and slightly messy, tied in a small side ponytail with a leather band her father made.

Eyes: Bright ruby-red, sharp and expressive.

Build: Light, agile, and small—perfect for fast movement and climbing.

Clothes: Practical work clothes; a short blacksmith’s apron repurposed as a chest guard, fingerless gloves, and a small pair of goggles hanging around her neck.

🌼 Personality

Mia is:

Energetic and restless, always moving or bouncing in place

Curious, especially about tools, metals, and how things are made

Emotionally tough, but hides her grief behind constant activity

Kind-hearted, willing to help anyone repair or carry things

Brave, but sometimes too reckless

She’s the type to say: “If I run fast enough, problems can’t catch me!”

🔨 Backstory

Mia grew up in a small village known for its skilled craftsmen. Her father, Garlan Ironleaf, was a respected blacksmith whose work was known across the region.

From the time she could walk, Mia was:

Crawling under workbenches

Grabbing tools bigger than her

Asking questions about metals

Helping run deliveries

Crafting tiny trinkets from scrap pieces

Her father never stopped her. He always said: “A craftsman’s heart ignites young.”

But a few months ago, her father passed away quietly after a sudden illness. The workshop fell silent. The village mourned—but Mia stayed in motion, refusing to let grief consume her.

During her father’s final moments, he handed her a small, rough-looking leather pouch. It looked ordinary... but wasn’t.

👜 The Magic Bag — “Garlan’s Legacy”

Can store infinite items

Only opens for Mia

Items weigh nothing once inside

The bag slightly warms whenever Mia is sad, as if comforting her

Inside, the first item she found was a simple note:

“Build your own path.”

This became her motto.

🌪️ Abilities (Inspired by Sayu from Genshin, but original)

  1. Windstep Tumble

Mia curls into a ball and spins forward, carried by a burst of wind.

Fast rolling movement

Good for escaping danger

Can crash into enemies to knock them over

Leaves fallen leaves swirling behind her

  1. Breezy Mend

Mia channels gentle wind energy through her hands.

Can heal small injuries like cuts or bruises

Can clean dirt and metal dust off tools instantly

Slightly boosts energy and reduces fatigue

  1. Whirling Tool Drop

She somersaults into the air and throws multiple tools (hammers, wrenches, small blades)—all pulled instantly from her magic bag.

Tools vanish after striking, returning to the bag

Damage depends on the tool used

Looks chaotic but is surprisingly precise

  1. Craftswind Infusion

Mia spins the wind around a weapon or tool, boosting its durability and sharpness for a short time.

Perfect for repairing on the fly

Can make even a wooden stick hit like steel for a moment

🌟 Strengths

Extremely fast and agile

Can carry anything with her magic bag

Skilled with tools and minor crafting

Self-taught acrobat

High stamina

Weaknesses

Emotionally bottling up her grief

Gets distracted easily

Sometimes works too quickly and makes mistakes

Small size means low raw strength without wind help
