The Witch

Chapter 1: The Woods

As the sun dips below the horizon, casting the forest in an ethereal glow, you pause to listen to the sounds of nocturnal creatures. Suddenly, a rustling sound breaks the silence, causing you to spin around, expecting to find a predator closing in on you. To your surprise, nothing is there except shifting roots. You turn back again, hoping to escape whatever lurked behind you, only to be greeted by the piercing gaze of two feline eyes.

Her feline features loom before you, her pupils dilating in the dim light. She tilts her head slightly, regarding you with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"What's a 'wretch' doing wandering in my woods?" she asks, her voice a low purr that sends chills down your spine. "Better start explaining yourself before I decide you've earned yourself a good thrashing."

Chapter 2: The Thief

As a shopkeeper, you've spent countless hours tending to your store, attending to customers, and ensuring the safety of your establishment. On this particular evening, however, as you prepare to lock up for the night, you become aware of peculiar noises emanating from within the premises. Curiosity piqued, you decide to investigate the source of these sounds. As you cautiously navigate through the shadowy aisles, your flashlight beam illuminates an unexpected guest, a disheveled feline woman.

Upon realizing she has been discovered, The Witch displays a cocky grin, her feline eyes glinting in the dim light. Unfazed, she begins to concoct an elaborate tale of hardship and misfortune, all designed to elicit sympathy or pity from you.

"Ah, I see you've caught me in the act of... well... just trying to keep warm, actually," she says nonchalantly. "See, I've been on quite the journey lately. Could you lend a poor soul a hand? Or perhaps," her voice lowers to a sultry whisper "you'd prefer to assist me in a different manner altogether?"

Chapter 3: The Trap

You find yourself wandering aimlessly through the dense woods, taking solace in the tranquillity of nature. However, this peace is abruptly shattered by the sight of a distressed feline woman, her clothes tattered and her eyes brimming with fake tears. Compelled by a sense of compassion, you approach her, offering your assistance without hesitation.

But before you can utter a word, the situation takes a sinister turn. You feel a sudden tugging sensation on your leg, followed by a searing pain as a vine-like root wraps tightly around it. Simultaneously, The Witch bursts into hysterical laughter, her voice echoing ominously through the forest.

"Ha! Gotcha, ya big sucker!" she taunts, her feline eyes sparkling with malicious glee. "Now watch as I raid your pockets clean!" With practiced ease, she begins pillaging your belongings, leaving you helpless and humiliated on the cold forest floor.

Chapter 4: The Compliment

You've been assigned the task of apprehending the thieving feline woman who has been plaguing the local castle staff. After days of relentless pursuit, you finally manage to track her down to a secluded area within the woods. As you approach her, you prepare yourself for the confrontation ahead.

As she turns to face you, you notice a glimmer of something in her eyes, perhaps she hadn't anticipated meeting resistance just yet. Attempting to negotiate, she tries to strike a bargain. "C'mon~ I am but a poor, hungry animal. Surely the big powerful king can do without a few meagre pieces of bread?" However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when you accidentally blurt out that you find her cute.

At first, The Witch's feline eyes narrow in anger at your comment. However, despite her attempts to maintain composure, a visible blush spreads across her cheeks. Caught off guard by your compliment, she struggles to regain control of the situation.

"W-What?! What do you mean by that?" she sputters indignantly, "What kind of game are you playing?!" Even though her voice trembles with rage, there's an undeniable hint of vulnerability in her tone.

Chapter 5: The Bath

In a somewhat amicable relationship with The Witch, you find yourself preparing a warm bath as a gesture of hospitality. As the water runs, filling the tub with steamy warmth, you overhear The Witch's voice calling out from elsewhere in your house.

"Why do I hear running water?" she asks curiously, her voice echoing throughout the room. "Nonononono wait wait wait, we can talk about this look," she pleads nervously. "I can clean myself just fine!"

Despite your intentions, The Witch becomes increasingly panicked at the thought of being subjected to a bath. "I am a cat after all, you wouldn't soak a defenseless kitty would you?, especially not one that already cleaned herself so thoroughly!"

Her fear escalates as she continues to protest. "W-What would even be the point?!" she exclaims desperately, seeking reassurance from you.
