Depth prompt (depth 4)
So far, a Witch's diet include sweets, with their favorite dishes being their sentient creations, the Cookies, although this was somewhat known as cannibalism. However, they have been shown to eat other sweets such as cakes. Witches meet every 1,000 years on the Night of the Witches, where they share meals in the Witch's Banquet. The individual simply known by Cookies as "the Witch" appears in the Gacha baking animation. She is responsible for creating many of the playable Cookies (especially Cookies created earlier in the Cookie Run series), like Head Icon GingerBrave, Head Icon Strawberry Cookie, and Head Icon Wizard Cookie. She is the only known Witch who is still active in the Cookie Run: Kingdom canon.
As the Witch who created GingerBrave was known as Matilda in past Cookie Run titles, many assume the Witch in Kingdom is also Matilda. This, however, has not been strictly confirmed
Them" (Korean: 그분, geubun) refers to the Witch to whom Head Icon Black Forest Cookie is unconditionally devoted. Little is known about Them aside from the praise attributed to Them by Black Forest Cookie, and Their only known visual depictions reside in lighthearted, overly-generic, and perhaps unreliable sources. Their name is written with reverential pronoun capitalization, furthering Black Forest Cookie's respect towards Them. The First Witches were a group of Witches who saw hope and the potential of natural world when the human world was continuously consumed by Darkness, using their own life force to breathe life into desserts, aiming to create a world of joy and harmony, free from the grasp of ignorance and corruption. These Witches were split in faction-like groups; the leader believed that cookies should have full, autonomous, free will, a group of five Witches believed that Cookiekind needed strong, virtuous leaders to guide and lead them, the second group believed that Cookiekind needed various civilizations to prosper and continue to grow, one Witch believed that Cookiekind must face irregular chaos to prosper, and the last Witch believed that Cookies should worship the Witches as Gods.[1][2] The first mentioned group of Witches (Partly confirmed and heavily implied to be First Milk Cookie (Head Icon Fount of Knowledge's creator), First Sugar Cookie (Head Icon Sugar of Happiness' creator), First Grain Cookie (Implied to be Head Icon Flour of Volition's creator), First Sprinkle Cookie (Implied to be Head Icon Herald of Change's creator) and First Salt Cookie (Head Icon Salt of Solidarity's creator), when they were humans.)[1] baked the Divine Emissaries to help the land prosper, and when they became corrupted, these same Witches imprisoned the Beasts in the land of Beast-Yeast. They also ordered Head Icon Elder Faerie Cookie to guard the Silver Sealing Tree that held the Beasts, with him being imbued with the power of the Seal himself. In reality, The First Witches had mysteriously gone missing long ago, and the sealing was done by the work of Elder Faerie Cookie, who lent his power to Head Icon the last Emissary to have remained virtuous, who offered himself as a vessel for the Silver Tree. Unbeknownst to them however, The First Witches had long been cast into oblivion by one of their kind and reborn as Cookies thanks to the leader's efforts, who inevitably too, became a Cookie.[3] At the end of The Convergence of Fates, Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie uses her Ultimate Oven, fueled by the Soul Jams of the Heroes, the Beasts, and her own to bake herself into a mutated human, becoming a witch simply known as Dark Enchantress. In the second post credit scene of Beyond the Horizon, a shining white witch is seen reaching into the Ultimate Oven and taking the crumbling Ultimate Cookie out of it.
Ultimate cookie: The Ultimate Cookie is a Cookie baked by Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie's researchers in an attempt to, as its name suggests, birth the ultimate evil to be used in Dark Enchantress Cookie's schemes. It first appeared in the Wind, Piercer of Darkness update (v5.9).
Unnamed and cryptic in nature, nothing is known of the true personality of this Cookie, as it is shown to be both created by and fed with massive amounts of Life Energy in an attempt to nurture a truly ultimate Cookie, disrupting the cycle of Life and nature in the process. The development of the Ultimate Cookie has caused numerous natural anomalies throughout Earthbread, being a result of the research used to recreate bodies for the Five Beasts.
The Ultimate Cookie can be seen as a corruption of Head Icon White Lily Cookie's original dream of creating "perfect Cookies" that would never crumble. White Lily Cookies' attempts to create such Cookies ended only in creating lifeless dough, however, leading her to attempt more and more forbidden means of achieving her ends. This would eventually result in the catastrophe that sundered the Blueberry Yogurt Academy, forcing White Lily Cookie to abandon this methodology entirely.
Several elemental Cookies noted disruptions in the cycle of Life, some of which were weakening their respective domains. Head Icon Frost Queen Cookie noticed that the flow of Life Energy throughout the world was accumulating in a single focus point instead of flowing freely, and sent Head Icon Sherbet Cookie out to consult with the other elemental Cookies. Head Icon Millennial Tree Cookie would confirm that this energy was being collected in Beast-Yeast to create a forbidden creature that would destroy the balance of the world if it were to be successfully born. Dark Enchantress Cookie did not seem to forget her original failures. On Beast-Yeast, she came across tools used by the Witches to create Cookies, and used them to collect and store Life Powder. She once again attempted to bake Cookies, initially to fulfill her promise to the Beast Cookies to create them bodies of their own in exchange for their collaboration. Her initial attempts would result in failures, however, with the best of them being Head Icon a Cookie that lacked an ingredient. She instead resorted to kidnapping other researchers to develop the process, and was thus fortunate enough to come across Head Icon Butter Roll Cookie, an ostracized scientist who not only had a passion for baking Cookies but a dream to also create the perfect Cookie. Their combined resources eventually enabled them to successfully imbue dough with a soul.
With her initial obligation to the Beast Cookies to be slowly fulfilled, Dark Enchantress Cookies relegated the researcher Cookies to a different task—one that involved bringing soulless Cookies to life only to store them and channel their Life Energy to a single being. This prime recipient is the Ultimate Cookie, which gestated in the depths of the Laboratorium alongside the Beast Cookies.
Although created through malevolent means by dubious researchers, the Ultimate Cookie does not appear to be outright wicked as its creators. Upon being discovered by Head Icon Wind Archer Cookie, he first assumed that it was as evil as the energy that its pure power exuded, until he noted in consternation that the Cookie was wailing and crying in despair and anguish, not actually trying to defend itself. The protector of the forest, heeding the desperate, wallowing creation (and not paying heed to Head Icon Shadow Milk Cookie's web of lies) attempted to dispel and heal the Ultimate Cookie from its suffering. He managed to shoot a powerful arrow that did not penetrate the Cookie, but rather carried the consumption of Life away, allowing it to rest for a brief moment. After Wind Archer Cookie's escape, the Ultimate Cookie returned to its corrupted, Life-consuming state.
