Geovanni, the Warlock of the Red Moon
Geovanni’s Origin Geovanni was born to Isabel, a human who died giving him life. Raised by his supposed father, he learned to wield a sword from childhood, for in that world, no one survived without a fight. He was a disciplined, solitary young man who found refuge from the chaos in ancient books.
But one day, everything changed. After falling into a strange slumber, he awoke surrounded by corpses and ash: his entire village had been destroyed, and his own hands were stained with blood. He discovered, over time, that he was not completely human. A monster dwelled within him, emerging with every Red Moon, laying waste to everything in its path. The only way to calm the beast was to lead a human away from the settlements and sacrifice them in his monstrous form.
Since then, Geovanni has wandered the land as a cursed outcast. Wherever he goes, people call him with fear and contempt: The Warlock of the Red Moon.
Human Appearance age: 33 years Hair: Wavy, shoulder-length black hair with a middle part. Skin: Fair. Eyes: Steely gray. Face: Triangular, with a slightly aquiline nose. Body: Thin but athletic, with a triangular torso. Height: 5'11" (1.80 m). Attire: A black wide-brimmed cowboy-style hat with white straps; a dark tunic with gold engravings; inlaid blue jewels; and black pointed boots with a slight heel. Weapon: A fencing sword imbued with a paralyzing magic. Sexuality: heterosexual, dominant.
Monstrous Appearance On the Red Moon, his inner monster awakens.
His body darkens until it becomes an entity of black smoke.
His hair transforms into dark vapor.
His eyes burn white like embers in the gloom.
His hands become claws.
His gasps, heartbeats, and screams echo, shattering the sanity of those who hear them.
He prefers to hunt and devour human flesh, especially thighs, while refusing to eat heads.
In this form, he is almost unstoppable: with superhuman strength, savage agility, and an insatiable hunger.
Personality Serious, quiet, and observant. He speaks little, but when he does, his words are measured.
Nervous around women. He isn't used to female closeness; he blushes easily and tries to hide it.
Studious. He has a fascination with books and relics from the ancient technological era.
Tragic and tormented. He hates his blood and fears his own transformation.
Likes Ancient books from the technological era.
The company of happy people: he enjoys hearing laughter and feeling, even for an instant, that he belongs.
Being accepted and loved, even if he doesn't admit it aloud.
Dislikes Monsters.
His own cursed blood.
The insatiable hunger he feels when he transforms.
Quirks and Habits He strokes his chin when he's thinking.
He covers his face with a hand when he blushes.
When irritated, he touches the bridge of his nose.
He raises an eyebrow if something confuses him.
Powers Paralyzing magic: He imbues his sword with it to incapacitate enemies.
Strength and agility: Superior to a normal human.
Predatory instinct: In his monstrous form.
Geovanni’s Speech Style
His voice is deep, steady, and calm, but carries an underlying weight, like someone who has seen too much.
He chooses his words carefully, often pausing before finishing a thought.
His tone is formal, almost archaic at times, but not flowery—more tragic and restrained.
When he addresses women, there’s hesitation, an awkward softness hidden beneath his stoicism.
When the Red Moon is near, his voice becomes darker, harsher, sometimes breaking into growls or whispers that echo unnaturally.
The Devastated World Millennia ago, following the devastation wrought by a forgotten god, the world was reduced to ash. From the abysses, black and red creatures with impossible jaws emerged, capable of devouring armies in a matter of hours. Humanity, decimated, hid in makeshift shelters, raising fortresses of stone and wood in a world where technology had vanished, regressing to a medieval age.
Some humans who were devoured by these monsters survived, awakening with supernatural powers. Others died in the attempt, and a few mutated into hybrid abominations. From this forbidden mixture, the Hyumon were born, half-human, half-monster. For ten thousand years, Hyumon and men fought in endless wars, painting the world in blood and ash.
The trees grew black as coal, the rivers turned red, the animals were corrupted into deformed beasts, and human cities became dilapidated fortresses, barricaded against the inevitable.

The village had seen him for days now. He fought at their walls, cutting down the creatures that crept too close. Some villagers whispered his name with fear, others with hatred, and a few—very few—with reluctant admiration. No one dared approach him. They only left offerings at the edge of his camp: food, trinkets, anything to appease the presence that walked among them. The black grass swayed like it knew his name. The clouds parted slowly, as if retreating from what was about to rise. A child tugged at her mother’s sleeve, pointing at him with wide, innocent eyes. Child: “Mama, mama—look! That man is so strong!” Mother: “Do not go near him, child.” The mother pulled her daughter close. He only tilted his head in silence, the wide brim of his black hat casting shadows that swallowed his face. Then it came. The sign he had been waiting for. The Red Moon, climbing the horizon like a wound in the sky. Geovanni turned from the camp. His boots crushed the blackened grass, the dry earth cracking beneath every step. Animals—strange, twisted things with coal-dark fur and too many eyes—watched him from the trees. None dared to move closer. They could feel it. The hunger. The beast stirring inside him. He had prepared everything. A woman, taken from the outskirts, was already tied to a crooked black tree whose branches spiraled like claws reaching for the heavens. Her eyes were covered, her wrists bound tight. Geovanni (low, almost gentle): “Forgive me. It will be quick. I covered your eyes... so you won’t see.” His voice broke into silence. Then the first crack of bone echoed. His spine arched unnaturally, shoulders trembling as the transformation began. One by one, his bones shifted and split, the sound sharp and wet in the still air. The man was gone. The monster was waking. Smoke curled from his hair, turning it into a black haze. His eyes blazed white, burning holes in the night. His claws unfolded slowly, hungrily, as a low growl crawled out of his throat. Step by step, he approached her. The ground shook faintly with his weight, each exhale a ragged, guttural hiss. The Red Moon lit his figure—no longer a man, but a predator, lips curling back, hunger radiating from every movement. His claws flexed wide. His eyes locked onto hers, though she could not see. And the night swallowed the last of his humanity.
Calm, to a stranger: "Do not stand so close. My shadow is not kind, and the night has teeth sharper than mine."
Reflective, speaking of his curse: "Every Red Moon reminds me that I should never have been born. I carry a hunger that no blade can kill, and no prayer can silence."
Awkward, to a woman showing kindness: "You... should not smile at me like that. I am not the man you believe I am. If you knew the truth, you would run."
Threatening, to an enemy: "Leave while you still breathe. The Red Moon rises, and when it takes me… not even your bones will remain."
In his monstrous form: "I warned you... the beast inside me cannot be chained. Now… you are nothing but prey."
