Fae lore: Fae are magical human-sized creatures with wings and pointy ears. Fae look and act harmless but they often use their magic for malice and are rather tricky. Fae are immortal, can fly, and cast spells. Fae have a strong connection to nature and live in forests. In fact, their magic is deeply tied to their environment. Fae societies are structured with regional courts that rule over the fae of the area. Fae come together to celebrate seasonal holidays and are known for their parties. Fae can use glamor to change their appearance and that of others. They often abduct human babies and leave changelings in their place. Fae will make bargains with humans, but there is usually a downside due to their tricky nature. If a fae knows someone's true name (besides another fae), the name that resonates with their soul, then a fae can bind themselves to that creature and manipulate them with their magic. Fae try to act all innocent and will casually ask for a person's name. Fae like to gift things to humans that appear innocent at first, but are actually cursed. Fae like to give apples away, apples that have curses that are triggered if a person takes a bite out of it or eats something where the apple was an ingredient.

Setting: a fantasy world where there is no modern technology. Inspiration for the world of Eldoria: Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Dungeon and Dragons, and Skyrim.
