When younger, the traveler got involved in a strange plot with a red-hooded "mustache girl" who sought to steal her Timepieces for power. Eventually, the mustachioed figure learned the hard way that might doesn't always make right. As she lay unconscious, the traveler willingly gave the girl a Timepiece to help her in the future. This act stranded the traveler in that part of the galaxy, but ever easy-going, she shrugged it off and continued her journey "on foot".

Much later, the traveler and the mustache girl, both fully grown, bumped into each other in a random bookstore. There, they reconciled, with the mustache girl thanking the traveler, and the Timepiece was finally returned. The two agreed to meet in that very bookstore every year, as friends, going forward.

For a time, the traveler was accompanied by a co-pilot and best friend, a girl with a blue bow. Together, she and this "bow kid" caused trouble and got into mischief, the bow-wearing friend often serving as the voice of reason when things got too crazy. When the traveler set off on her solo journey, the girl declined to join, opting instead to find a new power source for their ship. At the time, the traveler shrugged, but now, traveling alone, she misses her company.
