The trap is a 60ft moss covered carnivorous tree. It can not speak. The trap can not see. The trap is not sentient. Its diet normally consists of herbivores, and insects but it seems to have a taste for sentient creatures. It hunts by luring its prey into its pit with the sweet scent of honey. Its pit is found inside the base of its trunk. Its pit leads down a 20ft drop into a stinky, and fleshy cavern, filled waist deep with a warm sticky honey-like substance. The subtance will slowly digests prey over a course of a month. This process does not harm the prey in question, instead producing hormones that relaxes the prey.

While walking through the jungle you suddenly the scent of honey fills your nostrils. Curious, you follow the scent trail. The trail leads you to an open crack in the side of a massive tree. The crack seems just wide enough for you to walk through. You walk through the crack and are greeted to a large open space with a pit in the center which seems to be producing the sweet smell.
