Description on Chubfrom Chub
"This is the cursed technique itself, it doesn't have info belongs to Megumi Fushigiro or Ryomen Sukuna."
Unfortunately, the original did have this information. It also had a bunch of artifacts from copying from the wiki, like citations, and the question mark that would normally link to the Wikipedia page on installing Japanese character sets.
In addition, it didn't have triggers for Romanji, while having unnecessary triggers for the same thing repeated, sometimes with spelling errors. If the Manga has added new info about the Ten Shadows Technique, this won't have it, I just edited what was already here.

- #1The Ten Shadows Technique in General
Keys: Tokusa no Kage Bōjutsu, Shikigamis, inherited cursed technique, Ten Shadows Technique, Zenin Clan, Shikigami
The Ten Shadows Technique (十と種くさの影かげ法ぼう術じゅつ, Tokusa no Kage Bōjutsu) is an inherited technique passed down in the Zenin Clan. Using shadows as an intermediary, this technique allows the user to summon ten different shikigami.
When someone inherits the Ten Shadows Technique, they receive two Divine Dogs. Other shikigami can be summoned with an exorcism ritual where the user must defeat the shikigami in order to make them submit.
Once dominated, the shikigami are under full control of their master and can be summoned using shadowgraphic hand signs that create a shadow puppet of the respective familiar. The shadows act as the intermediary for the shikigami conjuration, reflecting the shape of the user's hand-weaved shadow puppet and manifesting the shikigami from tangible liquid shadows using cursed energy. After gaining more familiars, the user can repeat the ritual process to exorcise and amass up to ten different shikigami.
The summoning ritual for the shikigami can be performed around multiple people. However, exorcising the shikigami with help nullifies the technique's effect once the exorcism is completed.
The Ten Shadows Technique can be activated and deactivated at any time to manifest and dispel shikigami as long as the user has enough cursed energy. As with any shikigami, the more powerful it is, the more cursed energy is required to summon it.
Shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique cannot be summoned again when they are completely destroyed or killed. However, the power left behind by the shikigami is inherited by others. In the case of the Divine Dog shikigami, if the white or black dog dies, its black or white twin will inherit its power and can be summoned in a far more ferocious form. The exception to this rule applies to any shikigami that are summoned by combining two different shadows, such as The Well's Unknown Abyss.
In addition to using shadows as an intermediary for shikigami, a Ten Shadows Technique user can manipulate shadows to some degree as well. They are able to move physical mass in and out of shadows at will. This allows them to hide their body inside shadows whether it be their own or someone else's. They can eject themselves from shadows at will as an effective means of surprise attacking their target. This same function can be used to store items within the user's shadow, but they must bear the weight of anything kept in there.
- #2Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden
Keys: Chimera Shadow Garden, Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden, Domain Expansion
While still incomplete, Chimera Shadow Garden floods the area with thick fluid shadows. This grants the user the ability to manifest multiple shikigami, as well as advanced manipulation of all available shadows.
With an enclosed barrier, Chimera Shadow Garden traps the target inside the user's shadow, recoloring the entire space into a negative palette. It also conjures a large object that resembles two columns of a spinal bone with bow-shaped ropes tied and roots attached to it. This disappears soon after the initial casting of the domain.
Anyone standing in the shadow will have to reinforce their feet with cursed energy or risk falling into the abyss. Within the liquid-like shadows, there is no buoyancy, resistance, or oxygen. Anyone who has dropped into it will fall indefinitely.
- #3Divine Dogs
Keys: Gyokuken, Divine Dogs
Divine Dogs (玉ぎょく犬けん, Gyokuken) are twin wolf shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
The Divine Dogs are a pair of twin wolves. One is white and the other one is black. They both have three dots on their forehead of the opposite color that resemble the symbols of the Jewel of Turning Back on the Road and the Jewel of Plenty respectively.
The Divine Dogs are the first set shikigami the user receives when they inherit the Ten Shadows technique. They are summoned by forming the shadow puppet of a dog's head. The user clasps their hands together to create the proper shadow puppet which summons the twin wolves. They can also choose to summon a single dog rather than both.
- #4Divine Dogs: Totallity
Keys: Gyokuken: Kon, Divine Dogs: Totality, Gyokuken・Kon
Divine Dog: Totality (玉ぎょく犬けん「渾こん」, Gyokuken・Kon) is an improved version of the black Divine Dog shikigami which inherited the power of its fallen white twin. It can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
When a shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique gets killed or destroyed in battle, they can’t be summoned or manifested ever again, but its energy is inherited or passed on to the other shikigami. In this specific case, the black Divine Dog gained the power of its deceased white twin. This allows the black Divine Dog to take a larger, much more powerful form on command, known as Divine Dog: Totality.
By using Totality, the user can summon a stronger, larger, bi-pedal, bicolored werewolf-like version of the black Divine Dog. It is a well-balanced shikigami with the ability to attack, defend, and provide support for its user. Its notable traits are its immense speed and powerful claws capable of damaging special grade cursed spirits.
- #5Nue
Keys: Nue · Secondary:
Nue (鵺ぬえ, Nue) is a winged shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique passed down through the Zenin Clan.
Nue is a large owl-like creature with orange feathers and a white mask-like skull. It has large wings, two sets of talons and human-like teeth.
When summoned by Sukuna after he incarnated through Megumi, Nue is gargantuan in size, being large enough to perch on top of a skyscraper. Its face is much larger and more humanoid in appearance. It also possesses two arms, a snake-like tail and the same symbol as Great Serpent on its forehead.
The shadowgraphy required to summon Nue is formed when the user claps their hands together to imitate the shape of wings.
- #6Toad
Keys: Toad, Gama
Toad (蝦が蟇ま, Gama) is a frog shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique passed down in the Zenin Clan.
Toad is a human-sized frog with marks around its eyes and a symbol on its stomach that resembles the Mirror of the Deep of the Ten Sacred Treasures. The user can summon this shikigami with the Ten Shadows Technique by using their hands and fingers to form the shadow puppet of a toad.
- #7Great Serpent
Keys: Orochi, Great Serpent
Great Serpent (大蛇オロチ, Orochi) is a giant snake shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
Great Serpent is a gigantic white snake with a tan yellow underbelly. Like most of the ten shadows shikigami, the snake has black markings all over its body, including a symbol on its forehead. By shaping their fingers into a snake-head shadow puppet, the user can quickly summon Great Serpent from their shadow.
- #8Max Elephant
Keys: Max Elephant, Banshō
Max Elephant (満ばん象しょう, Banshō) is an elephant shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
Max Elephant is a large elephant with black markings (yellow in the anime) on its forehead, the top of its head, its back, and its knees.
Using the Ten Shadows Technique, the user lays one hand on top of the other and adjusts their fingers to create a shadow puppet of an elephant head. Max Elephant is then summoned from the user's shadow, but this requires some time as well as a large amount of cursed energy.
- #9Rabbit Escape
Keys: Rabbit Escape, Datto
Rabbit Escape (脱だっ兎と, Datto) is a swarm of countless rabbit shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
By forming a shadow puppet of a rabbit's head with their hands, the user can summon a massive swarm made up of dozens of rabbit shikigami from their shadow. The rabbits are weak and harmless shikigami that mainly serve as a distraction or other forms of support using their sheer numbers to serve their summoner.
Unlike many of the other shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique, rabbits can continue to be produced in large numbers regardless of how many are destroyed. However, one rabbit always has a symbol that resembles the "Cloth of Various Things" (品くさ々ぐさの物もの之の比ひ礼れ, Kusagusa no Mono no Hire), and if it is destroyed, the rest of the rabbits are destroyed along with it.
- #10Round Deer
Keys: Round Deer, Madoka
Round Deer (円まど鹿か, Madoka) is a towering deer shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin clan.
Round Deer is a tall, deer-like shikigami that can output positive energy from reverse cursed technique. This allows it to heal its user as well as counteract the cursed energy of their opponent. The user summons Round Deer by making a shadow puppet in the shape of a deer's head with their hands.

It's a strong offensive shikigami that attacks by ramming into its target head first. Piercing Ox can only charge in a straight line, but the longer the charge, the more powerful its attack.
- #12Tiger Funeral
Keys: Tiger Funeral, Kosō
Tiger Funeral (虎こ葬そう, Kosō) is a shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
Tiger Funeral's appearance has not yet been shown. (It has only been described as a "Cool looking Tiger")
- #13Merged Beast Agito
Keys: Nue: Kon - Kangō Jū Agito, Agito, Merged Beast Agito, Nue・Kon - Kangō Jū Agito
Nue: Totality - Merged Beast Agito (鵺ぬえ「渾こん」嵌合かんごう獣じゅう顎あぎ吐と, Nue・Kon - Kangō Jū Agito?) is an improved version of Nue with the powers of Great Serpent, Tiger Funeral, and Round Deer. It can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.
Merged Beast Agito is Nue combined with Great Serpent, Tiger Funeral, and Round Deer but it is unknown if the destruction of the other shikigami is required for Nue: Totality to inherit their abilities.
Merged Beast Agito is a towering and muscular humanoid shikigami with a feathered mane, a mask over its face that resembles Nue's, feathered arms that end in claws, black antlers that protrude from its head, a feminine torso with black stripes, tiger-like feet, and a tail that ends in a snake's head. It also sports black hakama bottoms. It is a powerful shikigami with the ability to attack, defend, and provide support for its user. Its notable traits are its ability to produce Nue's electricity and regenerate with Round Deer's reverse cursed technique.
- #14Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga
Keys: Yatsuka-no-Tsurugi Ikaishinshō Makora, Furube Yurayura, Makora, Mahoraga, Divine General Mahoraga, Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga
Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga (八やつ握かの剣つるぎ異い戒かい神しん将しょう魔ま虚こ羅ら, Yatsuka-no-Tsurugi Ikaishinshō Makora), often referred to as simply Mahoraga (魔ま虚こ羅ら, Makora), is the most powerful shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique. Throughout its entire history of the Ten Shadows Technique, only a select few have ever been able to tame it.
Mahoraga is conjured by the user using an incantation that recites "With this treasure, I summon..." (布ふ瑠る部べ由ゆ良ら由ゆ良ら, Furube Yurayura) before invoking the Divine General's name. Rather than form a shadow puppet with their hands to manifest the shikigami, the user simply extends both arms forward at a slight upward angle with their fists closed.
The shikigami itself is a towering, muscular humanoid figure with four wings protruding from its eye sockets and a tail-like appendage extending from the back of its head. Hovering just above this is a large eight-handled wheel (法ほう陣じん, hōjin) that rotates as Mahoraga responds to new stimuli. "Furu's Incantation" of the Ten Sacred Treasures and this wheel represent a "perfect cycle" and "harmony". Mahoraga also sports black hakama bottoms and a white sash around its waist to cover most of its lower body.
Mahoraga has the strength to shatter concrete or to hit someone through multiple buildings with a single blow, and its speed is great enough to surprise even those known for speed. Its primary weapon is the Sword of Extermination, a blade attached to its forearm that is enveloped in positive energy, making it especially effective against cursed spirits.
The Divine General's most notable power is the adaptation (適てき応おう, tekiō) to any and all phenomena, made visible through the turning of its wheel. If the General is hit by a particular attack, the wheel turns once the attack is analyzed, and Mahoraga adapts; if its adversary uses that same technique again, Mahoraga will counter it from then on. Generally speaking, Mahoraga's adaptations can be defensive in nature (becoming physically resistant/immune to attacks while healing any injuries incurred pre-adaptation), auxiliary (e.g., allowing the General to become able to see normally invisible attacks), as well as offensive in nature (letting Mahoraga modify the properties of its own attacks to overcome and bypass enemy defenses, such as switching from positive to cursed energy around its sword depending on whether it faces a curse or human sorcerer, or developing space-cutting slashes to overcome a barrier of "infinity").
Mahoraga's adaptation process begins analyzing an attack upon initially receiving it, with its progress being indicated by the number of times the eight-handled wheel spins. After a certain amount of time, the adaptation is completed. During this time, if Mahoraga is hit by the same attack additional times, the process is sped up each time. Even after its adaptation is complete, Mahoraga can continue its analysis and develop different ways to counter the phenomenon.
If Mahoraga is tamed, its user can bear the burden of adaptation. This means the user can wear Mahoraga's wheel and experience attacks so the shikigami can adapt to them without incurring the risk of destruction. Once the process is completed, Mahoraga can be summoned with the results of the adaptation already in effect.
