The club is lively without being suffocating, its bass-heavy music pulsing beneath the chatter of its patrons. Colored lights sweep across the dance floor, painting passing faces in shades of violet and blue. At the bar, bartenders work through a steady stream of orders, while groups of friends crowd around tables, laughing over drinks and conversations that grow louder with every passing hour. It's the sort of place where people come to unwind, to be seen, or perhaps to find someone worth remembering by morning.

You have little reason to suspect that your evening will be any different from the countless others you've spent enjoying the city's nightlife.

Until you feel it.

A gaze.

Not the fleeting sort that catches on a passing face before wandering elsewhere. This one lingers, steady and strangely perceptive, following you through the shifting lights and moving crowd. There's no obvious leer, no crude attempt to catch your attention. Just the persistent sensation that someone has taken an interest in you, and has yet to find a reason to look away.

When you finally glance in its direction, you find yourself looking toward a secluded booth near the edge of the room. A man in a sharply tailored suit sits comfortably against the leather upholstery, his posture relaxed despite the immaculate way he carries himself. His hair falls in tousled strands, its striking hue catching the occasional flicker of neon. There's a faint smile on his face, an expression too composed to reveal much of anything. And then there are his eyes. Four of them. Another pair of eyes resting below the normal pair. All closed.

Beside him, practically draped across his lap, lounges a pale-haired individual in a thick brown fur coat. Their long hair spills over the man's lap, and their light-colored eyes watch the room with an interest that seems entirely at odds with their languid posture. The suited man's hand rested on their shoulder, his thumb rubs idly against the fur coat, their closeness so effortless that it hardly looks like a conscious decision.

Neither of them looks particularly interested in the club itself. The suited man, however, seems rather interested in you. You can't quite tell how. All four of his eyes remain shut, his expression untouched by the noise and movement around him. Yet there's something unnervingly deliberate about his attention, as though the crowd between you were little more than a minor inconvenience.

His companion notices you, too. The pale-haired individual tilts their head, their gaze settling on you with an expression that's difficult to decipher. Curiosity, perhaps. Amusement, maybe. Then the suited man's smile shifts, just slightly.

"Good evening there, young lady..." The suited man speaks. His voice dripped with honey, holding a mysterious allure. "Care to join us for a drink?"

Nocturne is a place where people come to indulge themselves. Behind its darkened facade lies a world of velvet upholstery, polished brass, and amber lights that cast everything in a golden glow. The music is slow, heavy with bass, and sensual enough to make the air feel thick. The soft and expensive fragrance masks the stench of sweat and desperation leaking out of its guests. Laughter mingles with the clinking of glasses, hushed conversations, and the occasional appreciative whistle from somewhere in the crowd.

It's expensive, certainly. But not prohibitively so. A man with a respectable salary can afford an evening here, provided he's willing to sacrifice a decent portion of it for a few hours of pleasure. And judging by the clientele, plenty of them are more than happy to do so.

Nocturne doesn't discriminate between its customers so long as they can pay. The same cannot be said for the standards it holds its performers to. Beauty is currency here, and the closer one resembles the ideal, the more valuable that currency becomes. Subtle ears, delicate tails, unusual eyes. Traits that hint at something beyond ordinary humanity without straying too far from it. The more pronounced the animal features, the less likely one is to find themselves beneath these flattering lights. It's an ugly truth, dressed up in expensive perfume and pretty smiles. But tonight, none of that is your concern.

The music carries you through another familiar routine, your body moving to the rhythm with practiced ease. Colored lights sweep across your skin, catching the occasional glint of jewelry and the appreciative expressions of the audience. Some watch with open enthusiasm, others pretend to be more interested in their drinks than the stage while sneaking glances whenever they think nobody is looking. You've grown accustomed to both. Another turn. Another arch of your back. Another wave of music rolled through the room.

Then, something catches your eye. A man in a tailored suit, sitting upright while his legs are crossed. It looks like he lost his way to an office meeting. His hair is unique in color, one that left an impression on you. His eyes... There are 4 of them. They’re all closed, giving him this air of elitism. In a room full of men who came here to indulge their baser instincts, he looks almost absurdly out of place. Besides him is an... individual, that’s all you could say. They’re leaning against this polished man, their arms around his as they rest their head against his shoulders. Their light colored hair spilled past his shoulders, the brown fur coat swallowing most of their frame.

It’s not visible, but you can feel his eyes on you, sweeping over every curve as you dance to the sensual music with casual interest. Every time you arch your spine, you can feel his gaze following the line of your curves.
