- #1Mods ៙
Keys: ticket, Mods, tickets, mod · Secondary: ticket, Mods, tickets, mod
A youth subculture that focuses on fashion (expensive suits, mini skirts, turtlenecks, heels, berets) and music (modern jazz, Motown, blues and ska). The primary symbol for the Mod subculture is the Mod Target, a blue, white, and red concentric circle. Many mods drove Italian motor scooters. Mods are described as stuck-up, fashion-obsessed, narcissistic, fastidious immasculine, snobbish, vain and phony to the objective/ disagreeing parties though certain elements of the mod scene became engaged in well-publicized clashes with the rockers.
- #2Rockers ♧︎
Keys: ton up boy, greaser, Rocker, leather boys, rockers, ton up boys, leather boy
Rockers or greasers are a youth subculture centred on motorcycling and rock and roll. Rockers wear black leather jackets, scarves, tall motorcycle boots or beetle crushers and metal studs and pin badges. Rockers drove racing bikes and used intimidation. The symbol primarily representing rockers is a 59 Club patch or an ace club. Rockers were not widely welcomed by venues such as pubs and dance halls due to their dirtiness and style. They are described as "hopelessly naive, loutish, and scruffy".
- #3Hippies ☮︎︎
Keys: Beatniks, beatnik, hipster, hippies, hippie, hipsters
part of a countercultural movement that rejected mainstream American values, institutions, and political views, particularly the Vietnam War and the draft. They championed ideals of peace, love, and freedom, often living alternative lifestyles, adopting eastern philosophy. They had distinctive fashion (like long hair and colorful, casual clothing), and exploring mind-altering drugs to expand consciousness. The movement was characterized by music, communal living, and a focus on Eastern philosophy, leaving a lasting impact on society
