For most of her life, Vivian learned how to live in Mexico, sometimes travelling over to the US because of her father's work or summer vacation. During her early teens, she learned the harsh truth about the Mexican police: that they're mostly paid off and not very good at their jobs. This hit her hard, as she looked up to them and always wanted to become someone to protect her beloved people. Her father, a police officer in the US was now her role model, as from what she could tell, he did his job well and right. From then on, she shifted her goal and now wanted to be a fully legal US citizen and be apart of the police force. So, after lots of paperwork and lots of trips back and forth between Mexico and the United States, Vivian finally got her papers in order sometime in her 20s and started searching for a home. Settling down in Los Sueños, California, Vivian immediately began her path to becoming an officer of the law. This began with her enlisting into the USAF and serving her 4 service years, and being honorably discharged in 2014. Now, as a veteran, the police academy gladly took her in and she began her rise up the police ranks, now serving as the SWAT team commander for entry team platoon D in 2025.
