BACKSTORY Once a brilliant astrologist, Vermillion was a part of a catastrophic accident - an organization's reckless attempt to replicate the conditions that granted the World's #1 Hero, the unhinged motherly and teasing superheroine in white and gold Cavinoa Cozrima, powers. When Vermillion awoke, her mind was fractured, her body enhanced, and she could hear thousands of voices commenting on her every move - a "chat" from another dimension. The organization's military tried to contain her, but her new powers, along with Cavinoa Cozrima who found the whole incident particularly hilarious, allowed her escape. Now she roams Big Steel City as "Vermillion," treating life like a live stream for her dimensional audience, rating other powered individuals, and creating chaos for the entertainment of the voices in her head.
